ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Grug has discovered a miraculous land where food is plentiful.  The cavemen, who have spent their lives subsisting on scavenged scraps, are overwhelmed by their newfound bounty.  Like starved savages, they run through the garden, gorging themselves on everything they see.  Their eyes glaze and seem to lose their intellect as their bodies live only to feed.  They throw themselves literally into their food, stuffing their faces again and again.  Finally, they collapse, holding their distended stomachs and groaning in pain.  Thunk, letting an uneaten doughnut fall out of his mouth: "I don't feel like eating anymore.  Mom, am I sick?"  Ugga: "No, honey.  You're full."  Thunk, surprised by the new sensation: "Full feels weird."  Grug, gasping for breath between each word: "I...can't eat...another bite."  Suddenly, his eyes fall on a new treat...a single banana dangling from its stalk.  Grug's eyes widen: "Wait!  Yes, I can."


Grug, Guy, and Phil discover the reason behind the Punch Monkeys' aggression: Phil's irrigation project deprived them of their water supply, making them unable to harvest the large amount of the needed bananas as an offering to the Spiny Mandrilla, a gigantic primate-like monster, to maintain peace. 

During their time together apart from the men, Hope finally comes to terms with her prejudice against the Croods and accepts them as equals. They decide to band together and name themselves "The Thunder Sisters!" Now unified, they locate the men and save them from being eaten by the Spiny Mandrilla!

The Croods are having dinner with the Bettermans, who were friends with Guy's parents and are now technologically advanced, well-mannered, and somewhat condescending toward the Croods. During dinner, tensions escalate, and Grug accidentally reveals the plan hatched with Phil. Fed up with the Betterman's condescension and their differences, the Croods decide to leave, while Guy opts to stay behind.

The group is attacked by the Punch Monkeys, who hold a grudge against the Croods for consuming the bananas that Phil had been providing as a daily offering. The Punch Monkeys capture Grug, Phil, and Guy and take them to their home.

The Croods are riding on the back of their tiger, trying to escape the predators that surround them.  But, even in the midst of danger, the budding romance between Eep and Guy distracts them from even their own survival.  They stare at each other with dreamy eyes, oblivious to their surroundings.  Grug, annoyed at the two lovebirds: "Hey!  Get your head in the game!"  Eep briefly pays attention, helping her father defend the family against several attacking beasts, but she is almost immediately diverted by Guy's hand holding hers.  The two are locking gazes again until a gigantic bee grabs a hold of Guy.  Eep hangs onto him and the two are carried into the sky.  The rest of the Croods follow, determined to stay together as a pack, but Eep and Guy feel like they are in a world by themselves.  They snuggle, dopey grins on their faces, as everyone else battles the angry bees.  And, when they fall from the sky into a river of lava, they land safely on a heart-shaped rock, still oblivious to danger and to Grug in flames behind them.  When they are pulled into a nest of man-eating plants, it hardly fazes them, and they run through the field of predators holding hands.  Finally, the two fall into a river full of creatures that want to eat them.  While everyone else is busy surviving, Guy hands Eep a flower.  At last, the Croods are thrown up onto the beach in a big people pile.  Eep and Guy lean in for a smooch, kissing the passed out Grug instead.


One night as the Croods continue searching for a new land to call home, they come across a giant wall. The family is intimidated at first until Grug (Dad) gleefully bursts open a large set of doors from the inside: “Welcome to our tomorrow!”

Eep and Guy are trapped and about to be eaten by the gigantic monster baboon when the Croods and the Bettermans begin throwing boulders at the beast.  Working together, the people distract the baboon from Eep and Guy.  But now they are in danger themselves and Eep and Guy must think of a way to save their families.  Suddenly, Eep looks at the rock in her hand and the flint in Guy's and has an idea.  The two work together to make a fire that burns the vines holding their boulder in place.  They send the flaming rock down on top of the beast and knock him into the crevasse.  The Croods and Bettermans have just started to celebrate when the baboon returns from the abyss and grabs Eep by the toe.  Quickly, everyone forms a line and holds onto Eep, trying to wrestle her out of the monkey's grasp.  Luckily for Eep, the creature had grabbed her by her false toe and, as it pops off, the beast falls back into the abyss.  Safe at last, they all celebrate their victory.


Eep discovers that Hope and Phil's daughter, Dawn, has never left the inside of the wall. Feeling isolated, Eep persuades Dawn to escape with her for a joyride using Chunky, but their adventure goes awry.

Dawn notices a mark on Eep's wrist and asks her about it.  Eep, casually: "Oh, it's just a scar."  Dawn: "Scar?"  Eep: "Yeah, from a thorned crab."  Dawn, impressed: "Whoa!"  She begins to notice other scars on Eep's body and asks how Eep sustained them.  Eep, pointing at each one: "Scorpion badger.  Swamp snake.  sky snake.  Volcano."  Finally, Eep points at her little toe: "My dad doesn't even know about this one."  Eep plucks a peanut shell off what turns out to be only a stub of a toe.  Dawn, who has lived a sheltered life behind a high wall, is almost jealous of her friend's life experience: "Every mark is an adventure!"  Dawn sighs: "My parents won't even let me have scars.  That's why they built the wall...to keep me safe."  Eep looks at the tall structure in surprise: "You're not allowed outside the wall?"  Dawn: "Nope."


Eep leads a staggering Dawn up the path to her house, giggling.  (The two teens have just snuck out over the wall to have a clandestine adventure.)  The girls spot a shadowy figure marching toward them and Dawn halts, instantly afraid: "Is that my dad?  Hide me!"  But when the figure emerges from the darkness it turns out to be Guy.  The girls relax and tell the boy they took the pet tiger out for a joyride beyond the wall.  Guy is horrified that Eep would take Dawn outside the wall, reminding the girls that Dawn's parents have forbidden it.  The girls dismiss Guy's concerns, telling him to relax.  That is when Guy notices that Dawn is acting almost drunk: "What's wrong with her?"  Eep, casually: "Aw, it's just a reaction to the bee venom."  Dawn, slurring her words: "Bee venom!"  Dawn holds out her hand for Guy to see.  It is swollen to ten times its normal size, hot pink and purple, and throbbing.  Eep: "It's just a little bee sting."  Guy, horrified: "Little!  This is a very severe bee sting!"  Eep, smiling: "She's fine."  Guy: "She's not fine!"  Dawn: "I'm fine."  She collapses, almost passing out.  Guy, scolding: "Eep, that was not smart.  She could have been seriously hurt.  You've got to think about these things."


The Croods surround a helpless Hope, weapons drawn to protect her.  They have ventured into an ice cave where three enormous wolf spiders are growling at them ferociously.  The Croods are just about to attack the snarling beasts when Dawn notices movement behind them.  She instructs her family to lower their weapons.  Bending down, she encourages a small spider puppy to come out of hiding and go to his mother.  Dawn, having spotted the puppy, realized that the wolf spiders weren't attacking them randomly, but simply protecting their young.  As the puppy is embraced by its mother, Dawn tells the rest: "This isn't a monster.  It's a mom who was just afraid for her baby and being protective.  Maybe she just didn't realize that the outsiders weren't a threat but actually friends.  (Music swells dramatically)  And that maybe the wolf spiders and outsiders could live in beautiful harmony together!"  The wolf spiders smile.  Thunk, struck by Dawn's perception: "You got all that just from looking at 'em?  Perhaps the window by which I view the world is flawed."


Grug and Phil, bitter enemies, have been physically duking it out so long they are weak and tired.  Unable to throw any more punches, they resort to the only weapon they have left - - their tongues.  They alternate insults designed to dig at each other's deepest emotional weaknesses with exhausted and ineffective physical strikes.  Grug, grabbing at Phil as he drags his tired body across the floor: "No man cave here.  You can hide from your family, but you can't hide from me."  Phil, missing Grug with his weak attempt at a punch and collapsing onto his chest: "Well, your precious pack is glad you're gone 'cause you smother them!"  Grug gasps as if struck before responding: "Well, you built a wall around your family, but you also built a wall around your heart!"  Phil grasps his chest in pain, wounded more by the words than by a physical slap.  Both men simultaneously deal the fatal blow: "You're...a bad...father."  They collapse backward to the ground, defeated.  Guy, who has watched the entire battle from his vantage point, is stunned by the power of the tongue: "Words as weapons?"  Just then, Guy is flooded with memories of hurtful things he said to Eep: "You're just a cave girl."  "It's called a shower...try it."  Guy is filled with remorse as he realizes for the first time how much he hurt her.  Back on the cave floor, Grug pants: "Congratulations, Phil.  You hit me where it hurts."  Phil, looking pained: "Likewise."

A young boy sits alone in a barren landscape, his feet blackened with tar.  His mind is flooded with a memory of his parents and their last moments alive.  The two adults are sinking in a tar pit, calling to their son to save himself: "You've got to go!"  Guy: "Not without you!"  Mom: "Don't look at us!  Look behind you.  Do you see the light?  You need to follow that light, okay?  Don't stop.  Don't hide.  Follow the light and you'll find Tomorrow."  A tear courses down the boy's cheek as he remembers.  Suddenly, the sun rises, lighting up the desert with a bright glow.  The boy looks up, whispering to himself: "Follow the light."  He stands up and begins to walk.
