ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Benjamin is a recently widowed single dad, trying to raise a teen boy and young girl on his own.  It's another chaotic morning, and Ben is trying to get his kids ready for school.  They are already running late, and the jangle of the telephone only adds to the stress of arguments over breakfast and hurried preparations.  Rosie yells as Ben inadvertently pulls her hair while putting it in a ponytail.  Dylan complains that Ben forgot to buy gluten-free waffles.  The dog barks, constantly underfoot.  Ben, frustrated with all the demands being thrown at him: "Did anybody even say good morning?"  He quickly answers and dismisses the phone call, noticing as he hangs up that Rosie's chosen footwear for the day is reindeer slippers.

Benjamin is driving his children to school.  While he drives, he lectures his son, Dylan, for slacking off with his schoolwork.  Dylan stares resentfully out the car window, mouthing the word, "Whatever."  Benjamin, telling Dylan that he's tired of the word "whatever," orders him to think of a new word.  While Dylan thinks, Ben continues the lecture: "If you focused as much on your homework as you do on your artwork, you'd have it all."  Dylan, glaring at his father, spits out his new word: "Pernicious."  Dylan: "Dad, nobody's gonna give an F to a kid whose mom died six months ago."  Rosie, stuttering a bit on the syllables: "What does pernicious mean?"  Ben, impacted by Dylan's word choice: "It's, uh, causing insidious harm or ruin.  Causing damage."

Benjamin is at his teenage son's school, responding to a phone call from the principal.  Having been caught stealing, Dylan is facing his fourth suspension in one semester.  While waiting for the principal, Ben lectures his son, receiving little more than sarcasm in response.  When the principal arrives, he asks Ben to come with him to examine Dylan's recent art project.  Principal: "Besides today's theft, there's a darkness here that we have to deal with."  The two men walk down the hallway, examining the work of the other students.  Principal: "We encourage creativity here in the school."  He points out paintings depicting such themes as love, peace, recycling, and sunflowers.  They stop in front of Dylan's picture...a grotesque portrait of a man's head severed at the neck.  Principal: "And guess which one is your son's."  He explains to Ben that Dylan has reached the limit of punishments the school is prepared to mete out.  Dylan will be expelled.  The principal is genuinely sorry, knowing that Dylan lost his mother only six months earlier: "But, as one parent to another, I...I would examine his inner life."  The two men turn as one back to the painting, staring in horror at the creation of Dylan's disturbed imagination.

Benjamin and his son are driving through a residential neighborhood when they are confronted with a shocking sight.  Buster, the bear from the local zoo, has escaped and is ambling slowly across the road.  Ben and his son, Dylan, stare at the bear, watching as it makes its way around their car.  Buster sniffs at the driver's window, trying to find his way inside.  As Buster licks the side mirror, Ben quietly and carefully asks Dylan to hand him his cell phone.  Ben, trying not to make any sudden moves that might anger the gigantic grizzly licking their car, calls the zookeeper.

Armed with rifles and tranquilizer guns, the employees of Rosemoor Wildlife Park are hunting after Buster, an escaped grizzly bear.  They spread out to cover more area, and so Benjamin is alone when he finds the bear romping in a meadow.  Although Benjamin has a rifle, he doesn't want to use it because he doesn't want to harm the bear.  Buster spots Ben almost immediately and begins walking slowly toward him, growling.  Ben, visibly frightened, doesn't back away.  Instead, he talks soothingly to Buster: "Hey, Buster.  Now, let's just hang out.  Pretend we're at the zoo."  Buster continues walking toward Ben, now mere feet away.  Ben: "Buster, this is a big gun and I don't want to shoot you."  With one powerful swipe, Buster knocks the rifle out of Ben's hands.  It sails into the sky.  Ben, amazed, watches its trajectory until Buster's huge roar reminds him of the life-threatening situation he has placed himself in.  Buster is so close that the breath from his roar blows Ben's hair and spit from his mouth lands all over the man.  Ben jumps as a tranquilizer dart hits Buster and he sinks to the ground at Ben's feet.  The other zoo employees run up, impressed at Ben's courage in confronting Buster.  Peter kneels over Buster's body: "He was toying with you, my boy.  That's what they do before you become chips and salsa."

While setting the dinner table, Kelly asks Dylan if he misses Lily (his friend estranged through a lack of communication).  Dylan: "I guess I just can't talk to girls that well."  Kelly smiles: "Well, talking to girls is easy.  They'll tell you everything.  The secret to talking is listening."

Benjamin and his son, Dylan, are talking about Dylan's broken friendship with a neighbor.  Dylan admits to his father that his relationship with Lily ended because he was too afraid to communicate with her.  Benjamin: "You know, sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage.  Just, literally, 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery.  And, I promise you, something great will come of it."

Benjamin is sitting on his kitchen floor, looking at photos of his wife on his computer.  She's been dead for six months, and he can't seem to move past his grief.  He looks at photos of their wedding, the birth of their children, and special family outings.  Some pictures make him smile, and others bring tears.  As he looks at a photo of a family picnic, the images come to life before his eyes and he sees himself surrounded by his wife and children as they run and play.  He smiles as the memories from that special day dance in his imagination.  He smiles as he watches his wife, remembering her as she was.
