ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Malia is standing in front of her class at school, struggling to read a sentence written on the board.  After she spends an agonizing thirty seconds trying to read one word, a boy in the class reads it for her, calling her an idiot.  The teacher looks up briefly, but then goes back to her phone texting without a word.  Malia, noticing the teacher's lack of support, looks back at the board and tries to finish the sentence.  As she sounds out letters aloud, students behind her play video games, whisper, and laugh at Malia.  Teacher, sounding impatient: "Try it again."  Malia looks at her helplessly, her brow furrowed with anxiety.  Turning back to face the board a final time, Malia can still hear the whispers and giggles of the bored students behind her.  Without help and without support, Malia is without hope.  She gives up: "I can't."

Breena and her fellow teachers are getting coffee in the teacher's lounge.  Deborah walks by Breena on her way out of the lounge, barely concealing her dislike for the woman.  Breena rolls her eyes, just waiting for Deborah to leave so she can vent to Nona.  Even though Nona asks Breena not to talk about Deborah, Breena can't seem to help herself.  Frustrated that a bad teacher is paid the most, Breena voices her disillusionment with an educational system gone bad.  Illiterate children, lazy teachers, and a corrupt administration seem impossible roadblocks to successful education.  Breena sits down after her tirade and snaps a rubber band around her wrist, stinging her own flesh.  She grunts in pain.  Seeing Nona's stare, Breena explains: "It's my shrink's idea.  Every time I start obsessing about how bad it's getting, I just snap myself out of it."  Nona: "How is that workin' for ya?"  Breena snorts sarcastically, showing Nona her scarred arm: "Calluses upon calluses."  Just then, Nona receives a text message that upsets her.  She asks Breena for one of her rubber bands.

Principal Thompson is addressing an audience of hopeful parents wanting to enroll their children in his highly successful school.  He tells them of the circumstances that led him to starting the school.  A parent himself, frustrated with the failing educational system, he contacted the school district for help.  Told by administrators to do nothing but to wait for changes that weren't happening, Thompson refused to be passive: "That word, 'wait,' means they're not going to do anything about it.  I said then, and I'm saying it now.  We will not wait."  The parents applaud.  Thompson: "Are we going to wait while our kids are dropping out of school?"  Parents: "No!"  Thompson: "Are we going to wait while the school system is failing us?"  Parents: "We will not wait!"  Thompson: "We will not wait!"  Parents, chanting: "We will not wait!  We will not wait!  We will not wait!"

Jamie and her daughter Malia are attending a lottery, hoping to win a slot for Malia in a successful charter school.  As the principal begins the drawing, Jamie whispers to Malia: "Close your eyes.  Close your eyes and wish for it.  Okay?"  Malia nods, closing her eyes tightly.  When they begin calling names for Malia's grade, Jamie takes Malia's hand: "Go like this.  It's better luck.  Luck's a lady."  Jamie, smiling confidently, is assured that her belief will secure their spot: "Luck is a foxy lady."  But, as each name is called, Jamie's smile fades a little bit.  When the last name is called and Malia hasn't received a spot, Jamie looks dazed, stunned that luck didn't favor her fervency.  Tears of disappointment fill Malia's eyes and the two sit, frozen, clinging to each other's hand while the lottery continues.

Jamie and Nona are meeting with school administrators, gathering information about transforming their school.  Sitting across the desk of the first administrator, they hear they must complete a 400-page document before they can request an appointment to schedule a meeting with the school board.  There is only one specific day per month available to request those appointments.  Nona, incredulous: "So, it's not the actual date we're scheduling?"  Administrator: "No, ma'am.  You're scheduling an appointment to schedule the date."  Jamie: "You're kidding, right?"  In the office of the second administrator, he is asked the same question by the two ladies.  Administrator #2: "No, it's no joke.  It's a process."  Jamie reviews the information he has just given them, concluding that she and Nona must have 400 parents and 18 teachers in support of their proposal before they can even write it.  Jamie, sarcastically: "Then we gotta do the proposal and submit it on the first Groundhog's Day of the Chinese lunar leap year."  When Jamie mentions the tight deadline to meet their goal of starting the school in the fall, the administrator laughs in their faces.  Jamie: "Something funny?"  In the office of the third administrator, she tells Jamie why a fall start date is impossible: "Start to finish, this process is three to five years, minimum."  She shrugs helplessly.  As Nona and Jamie leave the office building, Nona tells Jamie she's giving up.  She believes their dream is impossible.  Jamie refuses to let Nona quit.  She follows Nona as Nona walks briskly toward the doors, throwing out ideas to implement their plan.  Nona leaves the building, Jamie calling hopefully after her: "It's not over!"

Jamie and Nona are going door-to-door in an apartment complex, trying to raise parental support for their new school proposal.  At the first apartment, the door is slammed in their faces.  At the second, an angry parent tells them off.  And the scenario doesn't improve much as they move from apartment to apartment.  Over and over again, they hear the same phrases: "I don't wanna hear about it."  "I'm not interested."  They canvass the entire complex and are rejected at every home.  Finally, they knock on one more door.  Talking to the parent through the closed door, Jamie begs just for the chance to be heard.  Finally, the door opens and a voice calls from inside: "Come on in."

Jamie and Nona have organized a rally to gain support of their petition to change their school.  Jamie stands to address the hundreds of parents and press gathered in front of the school.  Lamenting the failure of their school, Jamie insists they all have a responsibility to fix it.  She warns the parents that their time of influence with their children is limited and change must happen soon to be effective.  Jamie: "Like that guy Gandhi used to say, we gotta be the change we wanna see!"

For years, Nona has carried the guilt of a mistake she made in her son's infancy.  Now that she is trying to start a new school, the press has discovered the mistake and is about to make it public.  Nona enters her son's bedroom and wakes him up.  She wants her son to hear the story from her before he hears it at school.  Gripping her son's hand, Nona shakily tells him that she had too much wine one night when he was a baby.  She had to take him to the hospital, but they were in a car accident on the way.  Nona warns her son that he'll have to deal with mean comments and questions from people who hear about it.  Cody: "What do I say?"  Nona: "You say your mother made a mistake and she wishes she hadn't done it.  She wishes it with all her heart.  Because she loves her son.  And that she's sorry."  Cody, seeing that his mom is in pain, tries to comfort her: "But it was a mistake.  And I'm okay."  Nona begins to cry as she tells her son the rest of the story.  She had neglected to fully belt him into his car seat, and he was thrown during the accident.  The doctors believed it may have caused brain injury.  (Nona has always blamed herself for Cody's learning difficulties.)  Nona, crying: "And that's the thing that's been taking hold of me all these years.  That maybe it had.  And I'm sorry."  Cody blinks a few times, looking into his mother's eyes: "But it didn't."  Cody, wanting to comfort her, invites Nona to lay in his bed.  She climbs in, putting her head on his pillow.  He places a hand on her cheek and kisses her once...twice...three times.  Then he lays down, taking her hands in his.

Nona, Jamie, and hundreds of other parents are gathered before the school board, waiting for the results on the hearing of their proposal.  When they are told their proposal is being refused for a vote because of a numerical typo, Nona stands, taking the blame for the typo on herself.  Board member: "So we should entrust the teaching of basic math skills to someone who can't even do it herself?"  The audience erupts at the injustice of the board's judgment.  Jamie stands up to address the board, admitting that she was the one who transposed the numbers: "I flipped the numbers one time in this whole proposal because I'm dyslexic.  I'm dyslexic.  I'm dyslexic.  I never even said that word when I was my daughter's age because the school I went to made me feel dumb.  And they didn't do anything about it, they just passed me through."  Jamie turns around to speak directly to her daughter: "Malia, I will not let that happen to you.  I need you to go to a school that knows what I know.  That you are so smart.  You're so smart."  Malia smiles at her mother.  Jamie again addresses the group, reminding them that their goal is not to please unions, parents, or teachers...it is to help children learn.  She refuses the leave the room until the board puts the proposal to a vote.  The chairman of the board whispers to her colleagues while the audience chants: "Vote!  Vote!  Vote!"  The board agrees to a vote.
