ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

The Tesseract, a powerful energy source of unknown potential, begins causing havoc at a remote research facility hundreds of feet below the earth -- forcing the entire facility to be evacuated.  Nick Fury, director of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., joins Hawkeye and physicist Dr. Erik Selvig in the Tesseract chamber when the device opens a portal to another world and allows Loki (adoptive brother and archenemy of Thor) to materialize.  Loki wants the Tesseract and uses his scepter to brainwash Hawkeye, Selvig and several agents, adding them to his evil entourage.     "I am Loki, of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose."    Fury: "We have no quarrel with your people."    Loki: "An ant has no quarrel with a boot."   Fury: "You planning to step on us?"    Loki: "I come with glad tidings, of a world made free."    Fury: "Free from what?"     Loki: "Freedom.  Freedom is life's great lie.  Once you accept that, in your heart, you will know peace."    Fury: "Yeah, you say 'peace,' I kind of think you mean the other thing."     Hawkeye, under evil's influence, shoots Director Fury and escapes with his new leader.

Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) is being held in an unknown Communist Bloc country.  She is tied to a chair and being interrogated by a Russian-speaking mobster and his henchmen.  After being struck in the face and threatened with death, one of the henchmen's cell phone rings.   "It's for her."    Irritated, the mobster takes the call and hears S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson on the other line: "You're at 1-14 Silensky Plaza, 3rd floor.  We have an F-22 exactly eight miles out.  Put the woman on the phone or I will blow up the block before you can make the lobby."     He places the phone on her shoulder and ear.      Coulson to Black Widow: "We need you to come in."    Black Widow: "Are you kidding?  I'm working."     Coulson: "This takes precedence."     Black Widow: "I'm in the middle of an interrogation.  This moron is giving me everything," causing the mobster to confusingly deny this to his henchmen, "Look, you can't pull me out of this right now..."   Coulson tells her that her good friend Hawkeye has been compromised, causing her to comply.  She nods for the mobster to take the phone, and when he does, she begins an all out attack on her captors, easily giving them a beat-down and knocking them out.  When the smoke clears, she grabs her high-heel shoes and heads toward the door...

In Calcutta, a little girl runs into a room where Dr. Bruce Banner (whose alter ego is the Hulk) is tending to a very sick family.  She frantically pleads for the doctor to come with her...    "My father's not waking up!"   Banner, pointing at the sick he's attending to: "Like them?"    Little girl, while holding a hand full of cash and nodding with tears: "Please."     She leads him to a run down shanty on the outskirts of town, and when they enter the empty house, the girl quickly scurries out a back window.   Banner, realizing he's been duped: "You should've got paid up front, Banner."       Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) enters the room: "You know, for a man who's supposed to be avoiding stress, you picked a h--- of a place to settle."      Banner: "Avoiding stress isn't the secret."      Romanoff: "Then what is it?  Yoga?"     Banner: "You brought me to the edge of the city.  Smart.  I assume the whole place is surrounded."     Romanoff: "Just you and me."    Banner, referring to the little girl: "And your actress buddy? Is she a spy, too?  They start that young?"     Romanoff: "I did."      (Caution: "Hell" used once as profanity)

In Stuttgart, Germany, Loki and his entourage are making their escape after stealing the iridium they need, when the narcissist villain can't help but torment a large crowd of innocent bystanders outside in a plaza...     Loki: "Kneel before me! ...I said KNEEL!!"   The panicked crowd does.    Loki: "Is not this simpler?  Is this not your natural state?  It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation.  The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity.  You were made to be ruled.  In the end, you will always kneel."     However, one elderly German man stands in defiance: "Not to men like you."      Loki, smiling: "There are no men like me."     Man: "There are always men like you."       Loki: "Look to your elder, people," as he lowers his staff to kill the man, "Let him be an example..."        But when the shot is fired, Captain America jumps in front of the man and deflects the blast with his shield!     Captain America, referring to Hitler: "You know, the last time I was in Germany, and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing."     After they exchange blows several times, the more powerful Loki gets the upper hand -- until Iron Man comes swooping down out of the sky, knocking the villain on his keister.     Iron Man to Loki (who is wearing an ornamental duel-horn headpiece): "Make your move, Reindeer Games," while pointing every weapon from the Iron Man suit at him.   Loki surrenders.

Having captured the villain Loki (a god-like being from the world of Asgard), Iron Man, Captian America and Black Widow are flying him in their jet back to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.  However, an unexpected visitor, Thor -- the adoptive brother and archenemy of Loki -- makes a grand entrance, grabs his brother and flies out the back of the aircraft.  After Iron Man takes off in hot pursuit, Captain America grabs a parachute to join the chase...      Black Widow: "I'd sit this one out, Cap."     Cap: "I don't see how I can."     Black Widow: "These guys come from legend.  They're basically gods."       Cap: "There's only one God, ma'am.  And I'm pretty sure He doesn't dress like that," as he jumps out the back of the jet.

After taking the prisoner Loki (Thor's adoptive brother and archenemy) from the Avenger's jet, Thor talks to him on a mountainside at night -- grilling him about the Tesseracts whereabouts (a powerful energy source of unknown potential).  When Loki admits he doesn't know where it is, Thor starts to say, "You listen well, brother..," when he is blindsided by Iron Man and knocked to the valley below.   What ensues is one of the best  scenes in the movie: an epic battle between the two superheroes, Thor and Iron Man, over their disagreement of what should be done with Loki!  Thankfully, Captain America shows up to stop the quarreling duo and knock some sense into their angry-filled heads.

After retaking Loki as prisoner (see previous Scenes), Tony Stark makes his appearance on the bridge of S.H.I.E.L.D's flying helicarrier in grand style; throwing around insults to the other members of the Avengers and having fun with the flight crew, giving them orders in gibberish: "Raise the mizzenmast.  Jib the topsails..," causing them to pause and look at him in confusion.     Stark, pointing at a crewman by the far wall: "That man is playing Galaga (an old school video game)!  He thought we wouldn't notice, but we did."  After showing off his intelligence and making fun of the other heroes, he leaves the bridge; and sure enough -- we see a crewman switching his screen back to the Galaga video game he was playing...

The Hulk is ripping things apart on board S.H.I.E.L.D.'s helicarrier when Thor steps in to try and calm the angry hero.  Instead, the two square off in a heated battle, exchanging massive blows.  Not having success fighting the green goliath bar-handed, Thor calls for Mjolnir -- his trusty and mystical hammer -- and clobbers Hulk in the jaw, sending him backwards and onto his giant hinny.  As the Hulk recovers and races toward Thor again, the Asgardian throws Mjolnir at the beast, which Hulk catches, but whose hand is immediately driven to the ground by the hammer's weight.  Intrigued, Hulk tries to lift Mjolnir from the ground, straining with all his might, but fails to budge the magical weapon -- for Mjolnir can only be lifted by Thor, alone!    (Written on Mjolnir's side: "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor").

Aboard S.H.I.E.L.D.'s helicarrier which is thousands of feet up in the atmosphere, Loki tricks Thor into being trapped in a giant, glass cage (Loki: "Are you ever not going to fall for that?").  Unable to smash through the glass, Loki pushes a button which ejects the cage from the helicarrier -- causing it to free-fall and plummet toward the earth.   (A side scene shows Black Widow beating-up on Hawkeye to snap him out of being brainwashed).   As Thor falls toward the ground, he is bounced around like a marble in a glass bowl.  Trying to find his bearings quickly, he finally pushes off one wall while using the power of his mystical hammer and shatters the glass on the other side -- saving himself just in the nick of time!

Tony Stark (without his Iron Man suit) confronts the powerful and deadly Loki, high atop Stark Tower in downtown Manhattan.  Loki states his confidence in conquering New York City due to his soon arriving alien army.    Loki: "What have I to fear?"       Stark: "The Avengers," as Loki looks confused, "that's what we call ourselves.  We're sort of like a team.  'Earth's mightiest heroes' - type thing."       Loki, smugly, after having besting them all thus far: "Yes, I've met them."        Stark, smiling: "Yeah. Takes us a while to get any traction. I'll give you that one.  But let's do a head count, here.  Your brother, the demigod," as Stark secretly puts a tracking bracelet on his wrist while pouring himself a drink, "a super soldier, a living legend...who kind of lives up to the legend. A man with breathtaking anger-management issues, a couple of master assassins, and YOU, big fella, you've managed to p--- off every single one of them."      Loki: "That was the plan."      Stark: "Not a great plan.  When they come, and they will, they'll come for you."     Loki: "I have an army."     Stark: "We have a Hulk."     Loki: "Oh, I thought the beast had wandered off..."    Stark: "You're missing the point.  There's no throne.  There is no version of this where you come out on top.  Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you.  Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be d--- well sure we'll avenge it."      Loki, stepping right in front of Stark: "How will your friends have time for me, when they're so busy fighting you?" as he touches his magical scepter against Stark's chest trying to brainwash him; but hits Stark's metal chest-piece instead.     Loki, confused: "This usually works."      Stark: "Well, performance issues, it's not uncommon.  One out of five..," but is interrupted from his insult when Loki grabs his throat, lifts him in the air, and throws him toward a large glass window.      Stark, in fear, talking to his in-house computer to propel a new prototype Iron Man suit at him: "Jarvis, anytime now."       Loki (scary voice): "You will...all...bow....before me!" and throws Stark through the window (with Stark yelling, "Deploy!").     As Stark plummets hundreds of feet toward the quickly approaching New York street, the new Iron Man armor rockets from a closet, hones in on the bracelet Stark is wearing as a beacon, and quickly engulfs the hero into it's protective armor as Iron Man fires his rockets just a few feet from the pavement to soar back to the top of Stark Tower -- blasting Loki upon his arrival!  Whew...      (Caution: p-ss and d--n uttered in dialogue)

With the alien army in full swing trying to destroy New York City, Captain America takes off from his fellow Avengers to help a trapped group of civilians further down the street.  With a dozen police officers doing the best they can before the National Guard arrives, Captain America jumps atop a car in grand style and starts barking out tactical orders.       Officer in charge: "Why the h--- should I take orders from you?"     But before Cap can answer, he is surrounded by a half dozen aliens, which he quickly beats-down in grand style.    Impressed and awed, the officer immediately repeats the Captain's orders to his men!      (Caution: "hell" used as profanity)

Busy fighting off a large alien assault on New York City, the other Avengers are glad when Bruce Banner, alias The Hulk, arrives.  But with Iron Man "bringing the party" to them (chased by a giant reptilian alien-robot-thingy), the team encourages Banner to change into the rampaging green goliath...anytime now...as the behemoth is only seconds away!      Captain America: "Dr. Banner!  Now might be a really good time for you to get angry (which changes the good doctor into the raging Hulk)..."        Banner: "That's my secret, Captain.  I'm always angry," as Banner immediately unleashes the controlled anger within -- transforming himself in seconds into the Hulk -- smashing the gigantic beast in grand style! The group then takes their now iconic circular stance, ready to fight as a unified team.


With Loki and his alien army starting to lose the battle for NYC to the Avengers, the nefarious one is confronted on top of Stark Tower by the raging Hulk.  But as Hulk approaches the Asgardian demigod to give him the smack-down, Loki calls him off...        Loki: "Enough!  You are, all of you, beneath me!  I am a god, you dull creature!  And I will not be bullied by..." but Loki is unable to finish his line (the funniest, perhaps best moment in the movie) as Hulk grabs the villain and smashes him over and over into the floor like a rag-doll.    Hulk: "Puny god..."      Loki, laying motionless six inches into the floor, just whimpers...

With the military overreacting and firing a nuclear bomb toward NYC to destroy the invading alien army (which continues to steam into Earth through a "portal" in the sky), Iron Man takes it upon himself to save millions of lives.  He intercepts the nuke in mid-flight and uses all the power available to guide the bomb through the portal and deep into outer space, exploding the alien mother ship.  Though everyone celebrates, Iron Man knows he is about to die and tries making a last call, unsuccessfully, to his true-love, Pepper Potts.  As determined, being so far into space causes him to lose consciousness, and plummet back through the Earth's atmosphere and toward the concrete street below -- ensuring certain death.  But before any other Avenger can try and take action and save the iron hero, out of nowhere, comes a leaping Hulk who grabs the lifeless body and skids down a skyscraper's side, safely landing on the street below.    Still unconscious, Hulk's roar awakens Iron Man, who comes to and says: "What the h---?  What just happened?  Please tell me nobody kissed me."    Captain America: "We won."      Iron Man, sighing: "All right, yay!  Hurrah.  Good job, guys.  Let's just not come in tomorrow.  Let's just take a day.  Have you ever tried shawarma?  There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here.  I don't know what it is but I want to try it."     Thor: "We're not finished yet."        Iron Man, looking towards Stark Tower where Loki lays recovering from Hulk's beating: "And then shawarma after."    Later, the groaning villain Loki (see Scene #CV05661) is being hovered over by the steel-eyed and determined Avengers!    Loki: "If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now..."      (Caution: "hell" used mildly as profanity)

At the end of the credits, a humorous scene shows the beaten-up and tired looking Avengers gathered at a New York shawarma deli quietly eating together!  (Notice how actor Mark Ruffalo almost laughs).      (Caution: It looks like no Avenger washed their hands before eating.  Really?  Look at the alien-gunk and dirt on those paws -- come on, guys!)

In the Gag Reel (Bonus Features -- Spoiler Alert!), actress Cobie Smulders who plays Agent Maria Hill, offers a very funny and intense overreaction to another agent's death...    "Noooooo!  Coulson!  Coulson, no!  You were the greatest man I ever knew!  You will be avenged!  You will BE avenged!  I will get the Avengers!  And you will be avenged, Coulson!!"

In the Gag Reel (Bonus Features), several funny outtakes show Captain America having great difficulty putting on a parachute...

In the Gag Reel (Bonus Features), when facing an alien beast with the rest of the Avengers, Bruce Banner, instead of turning into the Hulk (as seen in the movie, see Scene # CV05660), actor Mark Ruffalo fearfully runs off the set: "Dudes, you're on your own!"
