ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Carl, a straight-shouldered long-time employee of the AVF, has the dubious honor of driving a bus full of Minions to headquarters.  The bus is chaos, as the child-like Minions have zero self-control.  Paper airplanes, spitballs, and bubbles are just a few of the many projectiles sailing around the bus.  And the noise is deafening.  When a spitball hits the back of his neck, the beleaguered bus driver pulls over immediately: "That is it!"  He stands, using the intercom: "Quiet!  You are now on Carl's bus!"  Carl marches down the aisle: "While on Carl's bus, you follow Carl's rules!  No shenanigans, no antics, and no tomfoolery!  So, this ends now, or you're gonna see a side of Carl you do not want to see.  Do I make myself clear?!"  The Minions are quiet for one terrified moment.  Then, someone throws a pie in Carl's face.  Bedlam again reigns.


Gru and Poppy sneak into the principal's office to steal the school mascot, a honey badger.  Gru, knowing honey badgers can be fierce, grabs a tranquilizer dart just in case: "Once he's knocked out, we'll open the cage.  The fuzzy demon will sleep like a baby..."  Gru gasps, seeing Gru Jr. already opening the cage.  The plan falls apart.  The badger leaps out, startling Gru into tranking himself.   The crazed animal runs all over the office, causing mayhem.  No one can stop it.  Poppy, in her fear, accidentally trips the alarm, notifying the principal of their presence.  Meanwhile, Gru Jr. feeds the badger some of his snack, making an instant friend.  Using the temporary peace to escape, Gru and the others begin to run towards the exit, the principal in hot pursuit.  


Edith and Agnes are eager to start their new karate class.  The sensei orders all the kids to circle up, becoming angry when they don't respond quickly: "Show respect for your sensei!"  The kids bow and sit.  The sensei immediately begins criticizing them.  He points to Agnes, terrifying her, ordering her to give her name.  Agnes, shyly: "I can't."  Sensei, yelling in her face: "There's no 'can't' in karate!  Ten push-ups after class!"  Edith jumps in to defend her sister, incurring the sensei's wrath: "You better not be talking back to your sensei!"  The karate instructor send Agnes to the "corner of disgrace and reflection."  He glowers at Edith: "Now, am I going to get any trouble from you?"  Edith, crossing her arms: "Yeah, probably."  Sensei: "If you think I'm above fighting children, you picked the wrong dojo!"  He gets in a threatening pose.  Edith stomps on his toe, breaking it.  The other students cheer.


It is Lucy's first day at the salon when an obviously high-maintenance customer sits down in her chair.  She tells Lucy she wants a drastic change and shows her a picture of a model with bright pink, styled hair.  Lucy nervously grabs several bottles off the shelf: "Let's start with color?  Yes, color.  'Cause that's what you start with."  She begins painting gel from several bottles onto the customer's head.  However, when the two compounds mix, they begin to bubble and smoke.  Lucy looks terrified.  She begins to swirl the mixture around with a brush.  A huge clump of hair falls out, leaving a bald patch on the woman's head.  Lucy gasps in horror.  The hair clump bursts into flames, starting an electrical fire.  As smoke fills the room and the fire alarm blares, Lucy quickly runs out of the building, throwing her uniform in the garbage can.


The Mega Minions head downtown to try out their new role as heroes.  One spots a man getting mugged.  He throws a bar at the mugger, but it curves back and strikes the victim instead.  Another Minion spots a window washer in trouble.  Dangling from a broken platform, the washer greets the Minion with relief.  The Minion finishes washing his window for him and then flies away, thinking the job done.  The terrified man is left to dangle.  Another Minion successfully rescues a cat from a tree, but then destroys much of the plaza with his laser eye.  When all is said and done, no one is helped, but many are angered by the Minions' efforts.  Old lady: "I'm sick of super heroes!"  An angry mob runs the Minions out of town.

Arriving home from work, Gru excitedly greets his baby son.  To Gru's chagrin, the baby is very much a mama's boy.  Smiling brightly at his mother, little Gru Jr. reserves only scowls for his father.  Gru, tickling him under the chin: "Behind that sourpuss, I know you love your dada!"  Lucy: "Yes, of course he loves you.  He just...he just doesn't show it on his face.  Or with his body language."  Gru Jr. grins and coos at Lucy, but when looking at his father, he grimaces.  Lucy : "Show Daddy how much you love him."  Gru tries to tempt the tot with a treat, but he only cries.  That is, until he squeezes the fruit pouch all over his daddy.  Then the baby laughs at Gru's scowling purple face.

Mr. Ramsbottom gathers the Minions and takes them to a top secret laboratory.  He announces that he needs volunteers for a new mission.  All the Minions eagerly raise their hands.  Ramsbottom: "We are looking for the strong, the mighty…"  Hands sadly lower.  "The fearless."  More hands lower.  "We need the best of the best!"  The remaining volunteers retreat, leaving a reluctant five standing alone.  Ramsbottom: "We are developing cutting-edge agents.  You will the first to test our super-serum, designed to transform you into elite agents with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal man.  Or, you might just explode, we don't really know."  He leads the five Minions into their individual pods and presses several buttons.  Lightning bolts inject the serum into the pods.  The Minions burst out, suddenly in possession of super strength, flight, agility, etc.


Lucy is grocery shopping with Edith and Agnes when she suddenly spots her former customer (see clip # CV11970, where Lucy sets fire to the woman's hair).  She tries to hide, but inadvertently runs into a display of cans.  The bandaged woman spots her: "You!  You did this to me!  You fraud!"  She runs after the retreating Lucy.  Frantically, Lucy pushes her cart through the store, dodging the woman's purse missile.  Lucy desperately throws obstacles in her path, but the woman is bent on revenge.  She follows Lucy determinedly, brandishing a whisk and a spatula.  Finally, Lucy makes it to the cash registers.  She tosses money at the checker and races to the parking lot.  Breathing a sigh of relief, Lucy gets the girls into the car and drives away.

Gru, wearing his suburban disguise of pink polo shirt and khaki pants, eagerly waves at the man next door: "Look, Margo!  Neighbors!  Hello!"  Margo, embarrassed, pulls her baseball cap low over her eyes and reluctantly accompanies Gru next door.  Gru grabs the neighbor's hand and pumps it up and down, introducing himself.  Perry, the neighbor, looks less than pleased and pulls his hand back.  After a failed attempt to sell Perry on solar panels, Gru tries to make conversation with the retreating man.  Perry unenthusiastically responds.  Gru introduces Margo, but tells a very awkward story and Perry quickly tries again to leave.  That's when Perry's daughter appears, ready to be driven to school.  Gru applies his same over-eager technique to Poppy: "You want to carpool with us?"  Poppy, barely looking up from her phone: "No."  Gru pushes Margo forward, telling her she can be friends with Poppy: "You don't have any friends."  Poppy ignores her and climbs into Perry's car.  Perry again tries to end the conversation, pleading a date at the country club.  Gru unsuccessfully angles for an invitation.  Finally, Perry succeeds in escaping.  Gru, calling after him: "Anytime you want to hang out, just hit me up with a text!"  Margo: "That was painful."

Maxime has kidnapped Gru Jr. and transformed him into an evil cockroach baby.  Gru looks at his little son, seeing that he is fully under the spell of Maxime's bug gun.  Maxime, gloating: "He hates you!  He really does!"  Gru Jr. nods and laughs.  But, this doesn't change Gru's feelings for his son.  He keeps trying to rescue the baby from Maxime's clutches, despite the danger to himself.  Finally, Gru is dangling from the top of a tower crane, about to fall.  He looks into the angry eyes of his son...and loves him.  Gru's eyes soften: "It's okay, Junior.  Dada loves you."  The baby's huge, black eyes stare coldly back at him.  But, when Maxime begins to stomp on Gru's hands, trying to make him fall, Gru Jr. begins to be affected by his father's undying love.  The black in his eyes dissipates and he returns to his former self.  He bites Maxime on the ear, distracting him long enough for Gru to land a solid punch.
