ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

The Fedaykin soldiers have just defeated the Harkonnen ground crew (see clip # CV11837) when they themselves come under fire from a thopter.  Unable to defend themselves from bullets shot from the sky, the Fedaykin run, crawling underneath the moving combine to escape the volley of gunfire.  Chani and Paul know that they must bring down the thopter.  Evading the teeth of the combine, they crawl out the other side and run to take cover behind one of the machine's giant claws.  Chani prepares her grenade launcher while Paul covers for her, fighting off the Harkonnen foot soldiers.  But, when Chani fires her weapon at the thopter it merely strikes its shield, doing no damage.  Paul, knowing that the shield must come down to fire its weapons, tells Chani he will draw its fire upon himself and allow her the chance to strike while the shields are down.  Paul runs out from behind the protection of the claw, aiming for the next claw over.  But, before he can get there, the claw moves further away.  Paul yells, in frustration, now still exposed to enemy fire.  The Harkonnens in the thopter rain down bullets on Paul just before he dives behind the claw.  Chani fires.  This time, the grenade hits its target.  The thopter explodes, leaving the rest of the Fedaykin in safety.  They all train their weapons now on the combine, destroying it.  Their battle is won.  (Caution: s-word)


Gurney and his men have just been defeated by Paul's desert army.  Gurney, a highly-trained professional soldier, asks Paul: "How many men with you?"  Paul: "Two hundred."  Gurney is astounded that so few could have wreaked so much damage: "Incredible fighters!  Duncan said there were millions of them."  Paul acknowledges that to be the case: "In the deep South, yes."  Gurney: "Well, what are you waiting for?  With thousands of these guys, you could take control of the entire planet!  It's your father's dream!  What are you afraid of?"  Paul: "Worship, Gurney."  Paul has seen the Fremen turn from friends to followers as his power has grown and his reputation spread.  Even Gurney has heard the tales: "Muad'Dib the Prophet.  Why is that a bad thing?  Use it!  You have the power to avenge your father and you're afraid to use it?"  Paul tells Gurney that constant exposure to the desert Spice has given him visions.  He sees that if he were to go South, his power would become absolute and he would start a holy war: "Billions of corpses scattered across the galaxy.  All dying because of me."  Gurney: "Because you lose control?"  Paul: "Because I gain it."


The Fremen begin to murmur as Paul strides confidently to the center of the room, where only the leaders are allowed to address the people.  He is stopped by a leader, who reminds him that he must kill Stilgar in order to have the right to speak.  Stilgar, believing Paul is the promised ruler, offers his own life, but Paul refuses to take it.  He boldly tells them he is ushering in a new way:  "There is no one in this room who can stand against me!"  The people are standing now, angry that Paul is flouting their customs and setting himself over them.  Many draw out their knives.  But Paul is unafraid.  He approaches a man, telling him his very thoughts and revealing a knowledge of the man's past that was only known to himself.  The man falls to his knees, declaring Paul to be the Prophet they've all been waiting for.  Many follow him, bowing in worship of Paul.  To the ones that don't, Paul gives another prophecy, causing them to believe as well.  Stilgar, awed: "What do you foresee for us?"  Paul: "Green Paradise."  Stilgar falls to his knees: "Show us the way."  Paul puts on his father's ducal signet and proclaims himself ruler of the whole planet: "I am Paul Muad'Dib Atreides, Duke of Arrakis!  The Hand of God be my witness, I am the Voice from the Outer World!  I will lead you to Paradise!"  The people stand now, shouting in religious fervor.  Only Chani is disturbed at Paul's sudden rise to power.


Zendaya

While his mother is inside attending a religious ceremony, Paul waits outside.  He notices two camps of people.  One group waits in awed silence while the other laughs and talks like it is just a normal day.  He addresses Chani, a member of the second group: "You don't believe in all this?"  Chani: "No, we don't."  Shishakli: "These are old Southern beliefs.  Southern tribes believe a messiah will come to deliver us from evil."  Paul: "You don't believe in the Lisan al-Gaib (messiah)?"  Chani: "We believe in Fremen (their people)."  Shishakli, in her native tongue: "Amen."  Chani, somewhat angrily: "You want to control people, you tell them a messiah will come.  Then they'll wait.  For centuries."


Chani laughs as she watches Paul try to sand walk: "You sand walk like a drunk lizard."  Paul, confident in his book training: "I'm doing pretty good so far."  But Chani, who has lived in the desert her whole life, knows better.  She demonstrates the off-beat shuffling walk the Fremens use to confuse the sand worms.  Chani: "You have to break up your rhythm.  Like this."  Paul watches, still thinking his academic study of Chani's people means his knowledge is superior: "Now, that's interesting...because in the film books I've studied, the anthropologists say, in order to properly sand walk, you actually have - -"  Paul cuts himself off, realizing how foolish he sounds claiming to know more than a Fremen because he's studied Fremen anthropology.  Paul: "Never mind.  Please keep going."  He allows himself to be taught by one who has actually lived it and, soon, he is mimicking her movements.


With the battleships of the Great Houses surrounding the planet, the Emperor fully expects Muad'Dib to surrender.  But, when Muad'Dib reveals himself to be Paul Atreides, the Emperor knows the Houses may turn on him for murdering Paul's father.  Still, he tries to regain control: "As a servant of the Imperium, you will bow at my feet."  Paul, shouting: "Your feet?  You'll be lucky to keep your head!"  Paul tells the Emperor he will take his daughter's hand in marriage and become the new ruler of the universe.  Paul: "But you...you have to answer for my father."  Emperor: "Do you know why I killed him?  Because he was a man who believed in the rules of the heart.  But the heart is not meant to rule.  In other words, your father was a weak man."  Paul, ready to avenge his father's murder: "Stand, or choose your champion."


A Harkonnen team is harvesting Spice in the deep desert.  The enormous combine slowly approaches a patch of sand that appears to have a series of straws sticking out of it.  Unbeknownst to the Harkonnens, these "straws" are the breathing tubes of Fedaykin fighters, hidden in the sand and waiting for their chance to ambush their mortal enemies.  Just before the combine reaches them, the fighters leap out of the sand and attack the armed escorts walking alongside.  The Harkonnen are completely taken by surprise.


Paul has just experienced his first major battle, fighting with the Fremens.  He fought well and is on his way to earning their respect.  He tells them that, with his knowledges of the Harkonnens combined with the Fremen knowledge of the desert, they can conquer their enemy together.  The people are now impressed with both his fighting and his wisdom.  They invite him to be a member of their elite fighters, the Fedaykin.  According to custom, he must now receive his new names.  Stilgar, the Fremen leader, bestows upon him his first name: "You shall be known among us as Usul (for strength)."  Paul is then instructed to pick his own war name.  Smiling, Paul asks for the name of the small desert mouse.  The people begin to laugh, but Stilgar sees a greater meaning behind the name.  "Muad'Dib is wise in the ways of the desert.  Muad'Dib creates his own water.  The constellation that points to the North Star we call Muad'Dib, 'The One Who Points The Way.'  That is a powerful name.  Now, you are our brother.  Paul Muad'Dib Usul."  He embraces him warmly.  All the others stand in a line to embrace their new brother and call him by his new name.


It is time for Paul's last test to prove he is strong enough to be accepted as a Fremen.  He must ride a sand worm.  These giant creatures are roughly the size of a commuter train and can travel just as fast through the sand.  They are attracted to movement and can easily swallow men whole.  Paul crouches atop a large sand dune, waiting for a sand worm to appear.  The Fremen watching from another dune are horrified when they see the size of the worm coming towards Paul.  Paul waits, watching as the giant dust cloud surrounding the worm speeds towards him.  The worm crashes through the dune under Paul, creating a smothering sandfall, an abyss in the sand filled with choking dust.  Paul runs toward it and leaps inside, hoping to land on top of the worm.  He succeeds, managing to get his hooks into the worm's gills.  He hangs on, unable to do anything else, until he has passed through the dune and can see further than the end of his nose.  He had landed on his back and now clings there precariously, knowing that he must adjust his position or be thrown off.  He throws his hooks ahead and works his way into a better position, all the while fighting against wind and sand and the movement of the worm.  He continues to throw his hooks ahead until he is able to come to a standing position, riding the worm like a Fremen professional.  The people cheer.  Paul has passed the death-defying test.
