ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Hiccup wakes up with an injury from the battle, but finds out that Berk is now a dragon friendly place.

Hiccup, the scrawniest Viking in town, works in the blacksmith shop.  He longs, however, to be a dragon killer like the rest of the Vikings.  He arrives late to work because dragons are attacking the village.  His boss, Gobber, thought he'd been carried off by dragons.  Hiccup: "I'm way too muscular for their taste.  They wouldn't know what to do with all this."  He gestures toward his skin and bones body.  Gobber: "Well, they need toothpicks, don't they?"  Hiccup looks outside the window and watches the battle between the Vikings and the dragons.  He sees kids his own age out fighting the fires and thinks to himself: "Their job is so much cooler."  He begs Gobber to let him go outside and join the fight: "I need to make my mark!"  Unfortunately, Hiccup has a reputation for failure and Gobber won't let him try again.  Hiccup begs again: "I'll kill a dragon.  My life will get infinitely better.  I might even get a date."  Gobber points out all of Hiccup's physical deficiencies.  Hiccup tries to prove himself, but only succeeds in injuring a Viking.  Gobber tells Hiccup if he ever wants to fight dragons, he needs to stop being himself.  He sends Hiccup back to sharpening swords.  Hiccup thinks to himself: "One day, I'll get out there.  Because killing a dragon is everything around here."

Hiccup, trying to help his Viking father win the battle against the dragons, ends up helping the dragons instead.  After his father has to rescue him and the dragons escape with the town food supply, the whole village watches as Hiccup is drug away from the battlefield by his father.  Hiccup tries to explain his attempt to help, but he is cut off by the angry Viking.  Stoick (Hiccup's father): "Every time you step outside, disaster follows.  Can you not see that I have bigger problems?  Why can't you follow the simplest orders?"  Hiccup tells his father that in his heart, he's a dragon killer (Hiccup longs to be like every other Viking).  Stoick: "You're many things, Hiccup.  But a dragon killer is not one of them.  Get back to the house."  He makes Gobber escort Hiccup home, telling him that he needs to stay and clean up Hiccup's mess.  Hiccup hangs his head.  His fellow teens mock him as he passes: "I've never seen anyone mess up that badly."

Hiccup has again publicly embarrassed his Viking father by trying and failing miserably to kill a dragon.  Hiccup is being walked home by Gobber, his boss.  Hiccup, talking about his father: "He never listens.  And when he does, it's always with this disappointed scowl like someone skimped on the meat in his sandwich."  Hiccup mimics his father's voice: "Excuse me, barmaid.  You brought me the wrong offspring.  I ordered an extra-large boy with beefy arms, extra guts and glory on the side.  This here, this is a talking fishbone."  (Hiccup is the smallest and scrawniest of the Vikings.)  Gobber makes a feeble attempt to encourage Hiccup: "It's not so much what you look like, it's what's inside that he can't stand."  Hiccup is not comforted.  Gobber: "The point is, stop trying so hard to be something you're not."  Hiccup: "I just want to be one of you guys."  He goes inside his house and shuts the door.

Gobber is teaching the new batch of Viking teens to fight dragons.  They stand in the practice arena, facing huge doors, behind which are various species of dragon.  Snotlout cringes as he sees Gobber reach to open a door: "Wait, aren't you gonna teach us first?"  Gobber: "I believe in learning on the job.  Today is about survival."  As the teens rush in every direction to escape the angry dragon, Gobber shouts out questions: "What's the first thing you're going to need?"  Astrid: "A shield."  Gobber tells them all to grab shields: "Your most important piece of equipment is your shield.  If you must make a choice between a sword or a shield, take the shield."  Gobber continues to shout out instructions to the teens as they attempt to fight the dragon.  One after another, the teens are knocked out of the practice fight as the dragon hits their shields with his fireballs.  Finally, Hiccup is trapped by a dragon and Gobber has to intervene, throwing the dragon back into his prison.  Gobber leans down into Hiccup's frightened face to give one more piece of advice: "Remember, a dragon will always, always go for the kill."

After discovering accidentally that dragons are afraid of eels, Hiccup has learned that there are things humans can do to control dragons.  He makes a saddle and gear to see if he can ride Toothless, the dragon he has befriended.  The first attempt is a failure and lands Hiccup in the lake.  The second attempt is also a failure and both Hiccup and Toothless crash in a field of tall grass.  It is in this failure, however, that Hiccup makes another helpful discovery.  Dragons like the feel of grass.  Later on, when Hiccup is in the fighting arena, he uses a handful of grass to soothe a dragon into submission, shocking the other Vikings.  On another visit to Toothless, Hiccup is scratching Toothless and accidentally discovers a spot on the dragon's neck that makes him fall to the ground with pleasure.  The next time Hiccup is in the arena, he tries the spot on a dragon and once again stuns his classmates by making the dragon collapse at his feet.  Hiccup continues to observe Toothless and use what he's learned in the dragon arena, giving himself the reputation of a successful dragon fighter, even though he's never once harmed a dragon.

Hiccup has been keeping a secret from his father, Stoick.  Knowing the Viking to be an enemy of all dragons, Hiccup has befriended one, and has discovered in the process that dragons aren't the dangerous beasts they seem.  Feeling betrayed and humiliated after Hiccup refused to kill a dragon, Stoick confronts his son.  Hiccup tries apologizing for not telling his father the truth sooner, but Stoick doesn't want to listen to a friend of dragons.  Stoick: "They've killed hundreds of us!"  Hiccup: "And we've killed thousands of them!  They defend themselves."  Stoick paces, not hearing his son's words until he mentions he's been to the dragon island.  Suddenly, Stoick sees how he can use this information to rid the world of all dragons.  Hiccup, having seen the very dangerous "queen" dragon who lives on the island, begs his father not to go there.  Stoick ignores his son's pleas, walking away from him toward the door.  Hiccup: "For once in your life, would you please just listen to me!"  Hiccup grabs his father's arm, but Stoick thrusts his son away from him.  Hiccup lands on the floor.  Stoick: "You're throwing your lot in with them.  You're not a Viking.  You're not my son."

Stoick and his army of Vikings have come to dragon island to destroy the dragon population.  They break open the side of the dragon cave and Stoick stands at the mouth of the gaping hole.  He yells, rushing into the hole and brandishing his axe.  Thousands of dragons fly over his head, unharmed, and out of the cave.  The dragons all fly away from the island while Vikings try unsuccessfully to strike them down.  Finally, it appears that all the dragons have flown away.  Gobber: "Is that it?  We've done it!"  The Vikings let up a huge roar of celebration.  Stoick looks over at the one remaining dragon, the captured Toothless, and sees his agitation.  He correctly assumes that more is to come and instructs his men to watch out.  Suddenly, the huge rock walls of the cave begin cracking and a monstrous dragon hundreds of times the size of the others breaks through the side of the mountain.  Stoick and Gobber lift up quick pleas to their gods as they realize they are completely helpless to fight this dragon.  The Vikings run screaming in every direction as the dragon wreaks havoc among them.
