ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

H.I. is incarcerated again and continues his revolving door through the Maricopa County Maximum Security Correctional Facility for Men in Tempe, Arizona...     "I can't say I was happy to be back inside, but the flood of familiar sights, sounds, and faces almost made it feel like a homecoming," as a giant, scary looking man with yellow teeth growls at him.        Later in a group session the counselor lectures him: "Most men your age are getting married and raising a family, Hi.  ...They wouldn't accept prison as a substitute.  Would any of you men care to comment?"       Prisoners: "Well, sometimes your career has got to come before family. ...Work's what's kept us happy."       Still later while lying in his bunk, Hi tries sorting through what the counselor said, "But prison ain't the easiest place to think," as he listens to the cellmate above him ramble on...       "When there was no meat, we ate fowl.  When there was no fowl, we ate crawdad.  When there was no crawdad to be found, we ate sand..."      Hi: "You ate what?"        Cellmate: "We ate sand."      Hi: "You ate SAND?"        Cellmate: "That's right."      Hi goes before the lame parole board AGAIN...      "Well, Hi, you done served your twenty months.  And seeing as how you never use live ammo, we got no choice but to return you to society.  These doors gonna swing wide."     Hi: "I didn't want to hurt anyone, sir."        Board: "Hi, we respect that.  But you're just hurting yourself with this rambunctious behavior."      Hi: "I know that, sir."      Board: "OKAY, then," as he is paroled... and immediately robs a convenient store... and is arrested again.  After showing a female police officer romantic feelings, Hi is up for parole again...    Board: "They got a name for people like you, Hi.  That name is called recidivism.  Repeat offender.  Not a pretty name, is it, Hi?"       Hi: "No, sir.  That's one bonehead name, but that ain't me anymore."      Board: "You're not just telling us what we what to hear?"        Hi: "No, sir. No way."        Board: " 'Cause we just want to hear the truth."     Hi: "Well, then I guess I am telling you what you want to hear."      Board: "Boy, didn't we just tell you not to do that?"       Hi: "Yes, sir."        Board: "OKAY, then," as he's paroled.

Newlyweds Hi (a reformed ex-con with a long rap-sheet) and his wife Edwina (a police officer) feel it is time to have children...       "These were the happy days, the salad days, as they say.  And Ed felt that having a critter was the next logical step.  It was all she thought about.  Her point was that there was too much love and beauty for just the two of us and every day we kept a child out of the world was a day he might later regret having missed.  So we worked at it on the days we calculated most likely to be fruitful, and we worked at it most other days, just to be sure.  Ed rejoiced that my lawless years were behind me and that our child-rearing years lay ahead.  And then the roof caved in..."      Ed drives up in her police car, sirens blaring.  After coming to a stop beside her husband, she cries out in anguish: "I'm barren!"         "At first I didn't believe it, that this woman who looked as fertile as the Tennessee Valley could not bear children.  But the doctor explained that her insides (holding up a simple sketch of the female reproductive system) were a rocky place where my seed could find no purchase.  Ed was inconsolable.  We tried an adoption agency.  ...But biology and the prejudices of others conspired to keep us childless.  Our love for each other was stronger than ever, but I premonised no return of the salad days.  The pizzazz had gone out of our lives.  Ed lost all interest in both criminal justice and housekeeping.  Soon after, she tendered her badge."

Desperate to have a child of her own (see previous Scene), Ed sends her husband Hi upstairs to the Arizona family nursery to kidnap one of their quintuplets at night.  But having never been around babies before, Hi is in over his head as the toddlers drool, cry, crawl under the crib, almost crawl down the stairs, and find their way in closets...causing the poor man to finally return to his waiting wife empty handed...        Ed (sternly): "What's the matter?"      Hi: "I'm sorry, honey.  It just didn't work out."      Ed: "What do you mean it didn't work out?"      Hi: "Well, they started crying.  And... they were all over me," reaching for the door, "It was kind of horrifying, honey.  Let me in."       But Ed locks the doors and rolls up her window.        "Of course they cried.  Babies cry.  ...You go right back up there and get me a toddler.  I need a baby, Hi.  They got more than they can handle."

Hi and Edwina (a childless couple who desperately kidnap one of five quintuplets) bring their new baby boy home for the first time.  A kiddie song is playing, banners are up, children's crayons and toys are strewn about...    Hi: "This is it, young Nathan Junior!  You can just feast your eyes about, old boy!"        Ed (bringing the lad in): "Don't be so loud around him."         Hi: "D--n, I'm sorry honey."       Ed: "And don't you cuss."       Hi: "Oh, he don't know a cuss word from Shinola."       Ed: "Well, you see that he don't."         Hi: "I want to hold him, too."      Ed: "Well, mind his little fontanel."       Hi shows the lad around the small trailer: "Looky here, young sportsman. That there's the kitchen area where Ma and Pa chow down.  This here's the TV.  Two hours a day, maximum.  Either educational or football, so's you don't ruin your appreciation of the finer things.  And this here's the divan, for socializing and relaxing with the family unit.  Yes, sir.   Many's the day we sat there and we said, 'Wouldn't it be nice to have a youngster here to share our thoughts and feelings?' "      Ed: "He's tired, Hi."     Hi quickly places him on the sofa: "Just put those dogs up and take a load off."     After staring at the toddler for awhile, Hi excitedly exclaims: "What?!  Are you kidding?  We got us a family here!"     ...While Hi prepares to preserve the moment in pictures, Ed has her doubts: "I gotta tell ya.  I'm a little scared.  ...We got a baby, Hi.  It's an awful big responsibility. ...I mean, we've never done this before, and I'm kind of nervous."       (Caution: "D--n" is used once as profanity)

Late that night, after celebrating the arrival of their new baby boy (which they kidnapped -- see previous scenes), Hi and his wife Edwina are paid a surprise visit by two men who've just broken out of prison.  Ed holds the baby protectively and is not amused by Hi's dirty, noisy and obnoxious friends.  After the couple awkwardly answers questions about "Junior," Ed sternly orders the men out.    Friend (whispering to Hi): "Say, who wears the pants around here?"          Hi (embarrassed): "Ha!  Honey, these boys just got out of the joint..."      Ed: "Don't you honey me!  Now you can set a while and catch up, but then you be on your way," as she goes to bed.       Friend: "Got you on an awful short leash, don't she?"      Later, Hi slinks into the bedroom quietly...      Ed: "Are they still here?"     Hi: "Yeaaaaah... They're just gonna stay a day or two, honey.  It's raining out.  They got nowheres to go."       Ed: "They're fugitives... How are we gonna start a new life with them around?"      Hi: "Well, now honey, you gotta have a little charity..."      Ed: "Promise, just a day or two."       Hi: "Tonight and tomorrow, tops."    Riiiight. (Caution: profanity used)


After kidnapping a toddler (see previous Scenes), Hi has a nightmare...     "That night I had a dream.  I drifted off, thinking about happiness, birth, and new life, but now I was haunted by a vision of..."     (A silhouetted motorcycle rider comes riding out of exploding flames carrying two shotguns.)      "He was horrible.  The lone biker of the apocalypse.  A man with all the powers of hell at his command.  (A tattoo on the grungy biker's arm reads: 'Mama Didn't Love Me'.)  He could turn the day into night, and laid to waste everything in his path.  He was especially hard on the little things; the helpless and the gentle creatures.  (He explodes a bunny with a hand-grenade and shoots a lizard off a rock.)  He left a scorched earth in his wake, befouling even the sweet desert breeze that whipped across his brow.  I didn't know where he came from or why.  I didn't know if he was a dream or vision," as he rides past a flower which bursts into flames.       "But I feared that I myself had unleashed him..."

Hi and Edwin invite obnoxious friends Glen and Dot over for a picnic lunch.  Since Hi and Edwin are new parents, Dot has a lot of advice to give...        Dot: "Then there's the diphtheria-tetanus.  What they call the dip-tet.  You got to get them dip-tet boosters yearly or else they'll develop lockjaw and night vision. Then there's the smallpox vaccine, chicken pox, and measles. And if your kids are anything like ours, you'll have to get those shots yourself first before he'll ever take them. Who's your pediatrician, anyway?"             Ed: "We haven't exactly fixed on one yet, have we, Hi?"            Hi just sits in stunned silence (watching one of Dot's unruly kids continue to throw food).     Ed: "No, I guess we don't have one yet..."       Dot: "J----! You got to have one this instant!"        Ed: "Yeah, what if the baby gets sick, honey?"      Dot: "Even if he don't get sick, he's got to have his dip-tet."     Ed: "He's gotta have his dip-tet, honey!"                  Dot: "Have you started his bank accounts yet?"     Ed: "Have we done that, honey? We got to do that, honey.  What's that for, Dot?"        Dot: "That there is his orthodontia and his university.  Now, you soak his thumb in iodine you might get by without the orthodontia, but it won't knock a thing off the university," then to Hi, "You probably got the life insurance all squared away."      Ed: "Have we done that yet, honey?"        Hi continues to stare numbly.       Dot (knocking on the table to wake him up): "You gotta do that, Hi. Ed here's got her hands full with this little angel."        Hi: "Yes, ma'am."       Dot: "What would Ed and little angel do if a truck came along and splattered your brains all over the interstate?  Where would you be, then?"     Ed (worried): Yea, honey.  What if you get run over?"      Dot: "Or you got carried off by a twister?"      (Caution: Lord's Name used in vain, profanity used)

After Hi's dastardly friends kidnap Nathan Junior (whom Hi and Edwina originally kidnapped), Hi and Ed take off after their "son."  Driving in the car solemnly, Hi tries to make up with his wife, who is driving along quiet and distraught, but she wants no part of it...        Ed: "I don't want to feel better.  ...I don't care about myself anymore.  I don't care about US anymore.  I just want Nathan Junior back safe.  ...If we don't get him back safe, I don't want to go on living.  And even if we DO get him back safe, I don't wanna go on livin' with you," as Hi drops his head.      "I...I guess I still love you, Hi.  I know I do.  I ain't even blaming you.  The whole thing was crazy, and the whole thing was my idea. ...Ever since those jailbirds took little Nathan, I been doin' some thinkin', and I ain't too proud of myself.  Even if Mrs. Arizona had more than she could handle (they took one of the Arizona family's quintuplets), I was a police officer sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States. ...We don't deserve Nathan Junior any more than those jailbirds do. And if I'm as selfish and irresponsible as you..."      Hi: "You're not that bad..."        Ed: "If I'm as bad as you, what good are we to each other?  You and me's just a fool's paradise."

The lone biker of the apocalypse -- a giant, grotesque, cigar-smoking cretin -- is chasing Edwina and baby when husband Hi swiftly clobbers the monster off his motorcycle with a 2 x 4.  Continuing to protect his wife and child, the scrawny H.I. McDunnough squares off with the biker-from-hell on the dusty Arizona highway. The much bigger goliath of a man easily makes short work of Hi with an assortment of head-butts, teeth-popping pounding in the face, and a karate kick into a truck.  Knocked silly, Hi slowly tries crawling under the truck to hide, but is quickly pulled out and given a crushing bear-hug.  The monstrosity finally flings the half-conscious runt to the ground; aiming two shotguns his way...smiling yellow teeth...grunting with pleasure... until he sees Hi holding something shiny in his hand.  The pin of a hand-grenade pulled from the beast's vest when getting bear-hugged... Ka-BOOM!     (Caution: intense scene)
