ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Katy and Shaun are riding the city bus when a malevolent stranger stands in front of Shaun and demands the pendant Shaun is wearing.  Shaun refuses and suddenly two more men appear and grab him by the arms.  Katy: "You have the wrong guy!  Does he look like he can fight?"  The thug shoves Katy and she falls back in her seat.  Angry now, Shaun punches the guy in the stomach and he flies backwards across the bus.  Katy looks at Shaun in frank amazement.  What follows is a martial-arts brawl so intense that a passenger starts filming it for his social media followers.  Shaun, who has never before displayed any combat skills, singlehandedly defeats all three men.  Mild applause breaks out on the bus and Katy continues to stare, open-mouthed, at her friend.  (Caution: a-word)


Simu Liu

Shaun is around ten when his mom dies and his father decides it is time to begin his training.  Xu leads his young son to a merciless sensei, a taskmaster who will be in charge of molding the boy into a killer.  Shaun is stood in front of a wooden pillar and made to strike and kick it with his bare limbs.  When he stops in pain, the sensei whips him, forcing him to continue hitting the wood until it is dented.  Shaun, remembering: "From sunup to sundown, I was taught every possible way to kill a man."  Four years later, Shaun is still hitting the same place on the beam, with a larger indent showing his progress.  He is taken outside in the snow, shirtless, while two mean beat his body with sticks to build endurance.  While his father watches, Shaun must stand with arms outstretched, facing the beating without a flinch.  He trains with various weapons until, at 14, he is as deadly as his trainer.  His martial arts skills are amazing and he easily overcomes a dozen men at once.  And he does it all to please the father who is always watching.


The army of the Ten Rings has come to fight the village of Ta Lo in order to open the Dark Gate.  They are in the middle of battle when the gate is opened and the soul eaters begin pouring out.  Ying, seeing the terrible creatures flying toward them, warns the others of the coming onslaught.  Xialing, having paused her fight with Razor Fist: "Those things are gonna kill us all if we don't work together!"  Razor Fist, smiling: "You think I'm going to fall for that?"  Ying, knowing the Ten Rings will be decimated by the soul eaters, warns: "Your weapons are useless against them."  Razor Fist, arrogantly: "We don't need your help!  We are the mighty Ten Rings!"  Just then, a soul eater swoops down and grabs one of the most skilled Ten Rings warriors and sucks out his soul.  The Rings men shoot their arrows at it, but any damage they do is immediately healed.  The warrior falls to the ground, an empty husk.  Another creature grabs Razor Fist and the man tries to fight it off, but to no avail.  Ying thrusts her special spear into it and it disintegrates.  Razor Fist, breathing heavily: "We should work together."  He immediately orders his men to stop fighting the villagers.  (Caution: violence)


Hundreds of years ago, Xu discovered the Ten Rings.  Narrator: "They gave him the strength of a god and the gift of eternal life."  Xu has gathered an army and approaches a walled city, preparing to attack.  Narrator, as Xu slowly walks his horse toward the frightened warriors: "He could have used them for good.  But all he wanted...was power."  Xu watches the hundreds of arrows flying toward him with little more than a mild interest.  Easily deflecting them with the power of the Rings, he gallops towards the army and defeats them singlehandedly.  Over the next hundreds of years, Xu conquers again and again, building an empire and training an army.  Soon, there was nothing left that he didn't control.  He and his army toppled governments and changed the course of history, but still he wasn't satisfied.  Narrator: "He chased money and power for a thousand years.  But he still wanted more."


Meng'er Zhang

It is the great battle against the Dweller-in-Darkness and his evil minions. Xialing and Shang-Chi are riding on the back of the good dragon, the Great Protector, as the two creatures fight in the air.  Shang-Chi leaps from the back of his dragon and lands on the Dweller-in-Darkness.  While the creature flies, Shang-Chi runs down its body towards its head.  From the back of the Great Protector, Xialing lassos the Dweller-in-Darkness with her magical rope and pulls back to open its mouth.  Shang-Chi leaps into the air and thrusts the Ten Rings down the beast's throat.  The rings settle in its chest as Shang-Chi hovers in the air, gathering his power for one final thrust.  As he circles over the creature, the rings grow brighter and brighter until Shang-Chi releases them.  The Dweller-in-Darkness explodes and the battle against evil is over.  (Caution: intense images)


Destin Daniel Cretton

Katy, Shaun, Trevor and Xialing are parked at the entrance to the mystical forest maze leading to the legendary village of Ta Lo.  Morris, a creature from the area, is going to direct them through the dangerous maze, using Trevor as interpreter.  Katy slowly drives into the forest.  The vegetation is thick and they are on not much more than a slender dirt track.  Trevor, after Morris chirps to him: "You should speed up."  Katy: "What?  Why?"  Shaun turns around and sees that the trees are somehow eating up the track behind them.  Dirt and foliage fly through the air and the track behind them disappears in the rubble.  Shaun, yelling: "Katy, go, go, go!"  Katy slams on the gas.  They are barely staying ahead of the seemingly carnivorous trees and Katy cannot see anything except forest all around.  She has to learn to rely on Morris's instructions.  Trevor: "Hard right on three."  Katy doesn't see a break in the trees or another road to turn onto, but she makes the choice to trust Morris.  Trevor: "Now."  Katy jerks the wheel to the right, seemingly straight into the trees.  Magically, a clearing opens up for them exactly where they turn.  Now that Katy sees Morris knows what he is talking about, she doesn't hesitate, but follows each direction immediately.  Trevor: "And left!"  Katy turns and again the path opens up before her.  Trevor, explaining: "It's all about staying in the pocket."  Shaun: "What happens if we don't stay in the pocket?"  Trevor: "The forest eats us."  Morris continues to give Katy instructions through Trevor and they make their way through the maze by the skin of their teeth.  Just as the trees are about to close in on them, they arrive, landing in a shallow pond.  Morris coos.  Trevor: "Morris says, 'Great job, everyone.'"


Katy and Shaun are hanging out with their newlywed friends John and Soo.  They've just finished telling John a crazy story in which Soo was involved.  Katy: "You know, before she was a lawyer, your girl was pretty wild."  John, looking at his business-suit-clad wife: "What happened?"  Soo, with a speaking glance at Katy: "I grew up."  Katy, offended: "What's that supposed to mean?"  Soo: "That maybe there's a point where you're supposed to stop going on joyrides and start living up to your potential."  She points out that Katy and Shaun are some of the most educated, bright, and talented people she knows, but that they are wasting their lives as valet drivers.  Katy, eyeing Soo's pantsuit: "You sound like my mom.  You also dress like her a little bit too."  Later, Katy and Shaun are alone and fuming over Soo's friendly admonition.  Both are clad in tennis shoes and t-shirts and look like aging teens.  Katy: "We're not running from adulthood!  How is it running to have jobs you actually like?  Did you think valet parking is easy?"  Shaun, agreeing: "It's, like, the most challenging job ever.  You need people skills, driving skills..."  Shaun looks at his phone: "It's almost midnight.  We got the early shift.  Should probably be responsible.  Go to sleep."  Katy nods: "We can do that.  Or..."  The next second, Katy and Shaun are in a karaoke bar, singing "A Whole New World" while downing shots.
