ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

In an effort to save an entire planet from being destroyed, Spock has been trapped inside an active volcano.  Nearby, the Enterprise and its crew lies hidden on the ocean floor to keep its existence from being known by the primitive people on the planet.  Knowing the volcano is within minutes of erupting, Captain Kirk is scrambling to find a way to rescue his friend.  He and the crew realize the only way to save Spock would be to reveal their ship to the beings living on the planet.  Spock, communicating to Kirk from inside the volcano, doesn't want to be rescued at the expense of the rules: "The Enterprise is too large.  If utilized in a rescue effort, it would be revealed to the indigenous species."  Kirk: "Spock, nobody knows the rules better than you, but there has got to be an exception."  Spock, firmly: "None.  Such action violates the Prime Directive."  Bones, angrily: "Shut up, Spock!  We're trying to save you, d--n it!"  Spock: "Doctor, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."  Kirk: "Spock!  We're talking about your life!"  Spock, his comlink sputtering as the heat grows more intense: "The rule cannot be broken..."  Kirk, to Bones: "If Spock were here and I were there, what would he do?"  Bones, certain: "He'd let you die."  But Captain Kirk cannot leave his friend to such a fate.  On the captain's order, the Enterprise rises from the ocean.  The strange-looking beings populating the planet watch in awe and amazement as the great ship flies over the volcano.  Spock is beamed aboard ship just as the volcano erupts, and the Enterprise returns to space.  Kirk and Bones run to the transport room to greet their friend.  Kirk: "Spock!  Are you all right?"  Spock, reproachfully: "Captain, you let them see our ship!"  Bones, waving his hand in disgust: "Aw, he's fine." Back on the planet, the aliens are now worshiping a drawing of the Enterprise.  (Caution: d-word used)

Thomas and Rima Harewood are driving to the hospital to visit their extremely ill daughter.  Upon arriving, they are greeted by a doctor, who gives them the terrible news that their daughter is unresponsive to treatment.  The parents go to their daughter's room, to see her for perhaps the last time.  Rima hugs her daughter's stuffed rabbit to herself before placing it gently in the little girl's arms.  She strokes her daughter's cheek and then embraces her, crying softly.  Thomas, his own eyes brimming with tears, watches helplessly.  Later, he stands on the hospital terrace, looking blankly out at the horizon.  A man's voice sounds behind him: "I can save her."  Thomas turns around, incredulous: "What did you say?"  Man: "Your daughter.  I can save her."  Thomas stares at the stranger who has made such an impossible offer, hope and doubt mingling in his voice: "Who are you?"

Admiral Pike has called Spock and Kirk into his office to question them about their recent mission.  Having received two very different written reports from the officers, the admiral asks pointed questions in an attempt to get to the truth.  Captain Kirk, not realizing that Spock filed his own report, blatantly lies to hide the rules he broke during the mission.  When the admiral confronts him, Kirk is angry at Spock: "You filed a report?"  Spock, preferring to take responsibility for the choices they made: "I incorrectly assumed that you would be truthful in your captain's log."  The admiral dismisses Spock to speak with Kirk alone.  Admiral: "So, tell me what you did wrong.  What's the lesson to be learned here?"  Kirk responds flippantly, which only angers the admiral further.  Admiral: "You lied.  On an official report.  You lied.  You think the rules don't apply to you 'cause you disagree with them."  Kirk argues that his maverick qualities are what led Starfleet to make him a captain.  Admiral: "I gave you my ship because I saw a greatness in you.  And now, I see you haven't got an ounce of humility."  Kirk continues to argue, but the admiral is adamant: "You violated a dozen Starfleet regulations and almost got everyone under your command killed!"  Kirk proudly points out that he has yet to lose a single member of his crew.  Admiral: "That's your problem, you think you're infallible!  You think you can't make a mistake.  It's a pattern with you!  The rules are for other people!"  Kirk, arrogantly: "Some should be."  The admiral, fed up with Kirk's attitude, informs him that Starfleet has stripped him of his status as captain.  Kirk, finally taking his situation seriously, tries to convince the admiral to change his mind.  Admiral: "I can't listen.  You don't comply with the rules, you don't take responsibility for anything, and you don't respect the chair.  You know why?  Because you're not ready for it." (Caution: a-word used)

While Admiral Marcus briefs the gathered Starfleet officers on the recent attack of their archive, Kirk reviews footage of the incident.  Noticing details not discussed in the briefing, Kirk questions his senior officer, who tries to silence him.  Admiral Marcus, hearing the discussion, orders Kirk to share his thoughts.  Kirk tells the group that he believes there is an underlying plan to the attack on the archive.  Just as Kirk finishes his observations, the room begins to shake and the bright lights of a ship shine through the windows of the conference room.  Kirk stands up, realizing that the enemy's plan was to gather Starfleet leaders together in just such a meeting.  Kirk: "Clear the room!"  His warning comes too late.  The ship begins to fire at the room full of officers.

Uhura, Spock, and Kirk are on a dangerous mission to capture Khan.  When Spock remarks on their chances of combat, Uhura reacts sarcastically, referring to a previous mission: "Good thing you don't care about dying."  (Spock had willingly sacrificed himself, seemingly unconcerned for the feelings of his loved ones.)  This comment initiates an argument between Spock and Uhura.  Spock, wishing to make himself understood, admits that he deliberately chose to feel nothing at the moment of his impending death, but that his lack of emotion didn't mean a lack of care.  (Vulcans have the power to turn on and off their feelings.)  Spock explains that when Admiral Pike was dying, he had used his ability to mind-meld to experience the admiral's thoughts and feelings at the moment of his death.  Spock: "Anger.  Confusion.  Loneliness.  Fear.  Such a feeling is something I choose never to experience again.  You mistake my choice not to feel as a reflection of my not caring.  Well, I assure you, the truth is precisely the opposite."

Admiral Marcus announces his plan to destroy everyone onboard the starship Enterprise.  Kirk, feeling responsible for the lives of his crew, begs the admiral for mercy, but to no avail.  Admiral Marcus orders his crew to fire on the helpless vessel.  Kirk turns to face his crew: "I'm sorry."  They stare at him fearfully, knowing they are about to die.  Suddenly, just as the weapons are about to fire, they lose total power.  Admiral Marcus angrily orders his men to discover the problem.  Onboard the Enterprise, Sulu informs the confused Kirk that the enemy's weapons have powered down.  Unexpectedly, Scotty's voice sounds over the ship: "Can you hear me?"  Kirk, amazed: "Scotty!  You're on that ship!"  Scotty tells the captain that he was able to sneak aboard Marcus's ship and disable the weapons.  Kirk, breathing a sigh of relief: "You're a miracle worker."  (Caution: h-word used)

Kirk and Khan are attempting to board Marcus's ship without the use of the transporter room.  In a daring and reckless move, they don space suits and rocket packs, planning to shoot themselves like missiles from one ship to the other.  In order to successfully do this, they must aim their bodies at a small door, with virtually no window for error.  Also, the space between the two ships is filled with debris, which they must somehow avoid.  The two men are launched out of the rocket bay toward the other ship.  Flying through space like two torpedoes, they lean to the right and left to avoid colliding with debris.  Communicating with the two men through their helmet radios, Sulu directs them around each coming obstacle.  The ship's crew works together to identify obstacles and alert the men.  Bones, watching an onscreen map: "Whoa, Jim, you're way off course!"  Kirk adjusts his trajectory.  Sulu: "Use your display compass, Captain.  You must correct precisely 37.243 degrees."  Kirk: "Got it."  Kirk's helmet flashes a warning to let him know he's still headed the wrong direction: "Off course."  Suddenly, Kirk's helmet is hit by miniscule debris, which cracks it and damages his internal compass.  Kirk: "Spock, my display's dead.  I'm flying blind."  Spock: "Captain, without your display compass, hitting your target destination is mathematically impossible."  Sulu warns Spock that Kirk will never make the door.  Suddenly, Khan appears, directing Kirk to fly alongside him: "Come to your left a few degrees and follow me."  Kirk leans toward Khan and the two fly side-by-side into the ship.  (Caution: d-word used)

Jim is inside the warp core room, suffering from radiation poisoning after having saved the entire crew from death.  Spock is on the other side of the glass, mourning with his friend.  Jim: "I'm scared, Spock.  Help me not be."  Tears begin to form in Spock's eyes.  Jim, longing to have the Vulcan power to block out emotions: "How do you choose not to feel?"  Spock: "I do not know.  Right  now I am failing."
