ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

After the captain's death by the hand of the Romulans, George Kirk assumes command of the ship, still under heavy fire.  Kirk calls for a full evacuation.  He contacts his wife -- in full labor with their first child -- on intercom and orders her into an escape shuttle which he'll join as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, the ship's autopilot is knocked out, forcing Kirk to stay behind alone and manually protect the escaping shuttles.  He hears his newborn cry through a monitor and asks what it is.  A boy.  He and his wife decide on a name, Jim, just before the man who's only been captain for 12 minutes saves 800 lives, including his own family.

A young boy steals his step-father's car and races along a country road for a joyride.  He's eventually chased by a policeman in a "hover cycle" who orders him to pull over.  Instead, the boy pulls off road and heads for a cliff -- which he skids the car over the edge of as he bails just in time.  After dusting himself off and getting to his feet, he asks the waiting policeman: "Is there a problem, officer?"     Policeman: "Citizen, what is your name?"     Boy: "My name is James Tiberius Kirk."

On Vulcan, Spock is a youngster in school, firing through his multi-media studies at a whirlwind pace.  Afterwards, he is confronted by some Vulcan bullies...      Spock: "I presume you've prepared new insults for today."     Bully: "Affirmative."     Spock: "This is your thirty-fifth attempt to elicit an emotional response from me."     Bullies: "You're neither human nor Vulcan, and therefore have no place in this universe."     "Look.  He has human eyes.  They look sad, don't they?"     "Perhaps an emotional response requires physical stimuli."    The bully shoves Spock backwards.     Bully: "He's a traitor, you know.  Your father.   For marrying her.  That human whore."     Angered, Spock screams, runs at the bully and pushes him into a training crater, where the younger Vulcan begins to pound his larger antagonist with a vengeance!

Now a young man, Spock is visited by his mother before going before a Vulcan academic council...     Mother: "There's no need to be anxious.  You'll do fine."     Spock: "I am hardly anxious, Mother.  And 'fine' has variable definitions.  'Fine' is unacceptable."       Mother (smiling): "Okay."     Spock: "May I ask a personal query?"     Mother: "Anything."     Spock: "Should I choose to complete the Vulcan discipline of Kolinahr, and purge all emotion, I trust you will not feel it reflects judgment upon you."     Mother: "Oh, Spock.  As always, whatever you choose to be, you will have a proud mother."       Later, Spock stands before the council, which includes his own father...     Council Minister: "You have surpassed the expectations of your instructors.  Your final record is flawless, with one exception.  I see that you have applied to Starfleet (on Earth) as well."     Spock: "It was logical to cultivate multiple options."     Minister: "Logical, but unnecessary.  You are hereby accepted to the Vulcan Science Academy.  It is truly remarkable, Spock, that you have achieved so much despite your disadvantage.  All rise!"     Spock: "If you would clarify, Minister, to what disadvantage are you referring?"     Minister: "Your human mother."      Spock: "Council.  Ministers, I must decline."     Minister: "No Vulcan has ever declined admission to this Academy."     Spock: "Then as I am half human, your record remains untarnished."     Spock's father: "Spock, you have made a commitment to honor the Vulcan way."     Minister: "Why did you come before this council today?  Was it to satisfy your emotional need to rebel?"     Spock: "The only emotion I wish to convey is gratitude.  Thank you, Ministers, for your consideration.  Live long and prosper," as he turns to leave.

After stopping a barroom fight between his Starfleet cadets and Jim Kirk, Captain Pike talks to the arrogant young man alone...   Pike: "You know, I couldn't believe it when the bartender told me who you are."     Jim: "And who am I, Captain Pike?"     Pike: "Your father's son."     Jim asks the bartender for another drink as Pike continues.     "For my dissertation, I was assigned the USS Kelvin.  Something I admired about your dad, he didn't believe in no-win scenarios."     Jim: "He sure learned his lesson."     Pike: "Depends on how you define winning.  You're here, aren't you?  You know, that instinct to leap without looking, that was his nature, too.  And in my opinion, it's something Starfleet's lost."     Jim: "Why are you talking to me, man?"     Pike: " 'Cause I looked up your file while you were drooling on the floor.  Your aptitude test are off the charts.  So what is it?  You like being the only genius-level repeat-offender in the Midwest?"     Jim: "Maybe I love it."     Pike: "So your dad dies.  You can settle for a less-than-ordinary life.  Or do you feel like you were meant for something better?  Something special?  Enlist in Starfleet."     Jim: "Enlist?  (Laughing)  You guys must be way down on your recruiting quota for the month."     Pike: "If you're half the man your father was, Jim, Starfleet could use you.  You can be an officer in four years.  You can have your own ship in eight.  You understand what the Federation is, don't you?  It's important.  It's a peacekeeping and humanitarian armada..."     Jim interrupts, "Are we done?"     Pike: "I'm done," standing up to leave, "Riverside Shipyard.  Shuttle for new recruits leaves tomorrow, 0800.  Now, your father was captain of a starship for 12 minutes.  He saved 800 lives, including your mother's.  And yours.  I dare you to do better."

In his third year as a Starfleet cadet, Jim takes the 'Kobayashi Maru test' for the third time -- a test created by Officer Spock as a captain-in-distress simulation that's impossible to win. As the test starts, Jim is told the objective again: rescue the crew of the stranded Kobayashi Maru Starship...      McCoy (as warning alarms blare): "Two Klingon vessels have entered the Neutral Zone and are locking weapons on us."     Jim (in the captain's chair): "That's okay."     McCoy: "That's okay?"     Jim: "Yeah, don't worry about it."     Supervisor (behind the scenes): "Is he not taking the simulation seriously?"     Lieutenant: "Three more Klingon warbirds decloaking and targeting our ship."     McCoy turns to Jim, "I don't suppose this is a problem either."     Lieutenant: "They're firing, Captain."     Jim (happily): "Alert Medical Bay to prepare to receive all crew members from the damaged ship."     Uhura: "And how do you expect us to rescue them when we're surrounded by Klingons... CAPTAIN?"     Jim (confidently): "Alert Medical."     McCoy: "Our ship is being hit.  Shields at 60%."     Jim: "I understand."     McCoy: "Well, should we, I don't know, fire back?"     Jim: "No," as he casually takes a bite out of an apple.     McCoy: "Of course not."     All of a sudden the system fizzles and goes dim for a moment before coming back to life.    Jim: "Arm photons.  Prepare to fire on the Klingon warbirds."      McCoy: "Jim, their shields are still up."     Jim (taking another bite): "Are they?"     McCoy checks again, "No.  They're not."     Jim: "Fire on al enemy ships!  One photon each should do.  Let's not waste ammunition."       They fire.      Lieutenant: "All ships destroyed, Captain."     Jim: "Begin rescue of the stranded crew."       Jim stands up and struts around proudly, "So!  We've managed to eliminate all enemy ships, no one on board was injured, and the successful rescue of the Kobayashi Maru crew is underway."      He takes one last large bite of apple and smugly looks toward the observation window of his superiors.

Responding to an emergency, the crew of the starship USS Enterprise prepare for launch...     Captain Pike: "Ladies and gentlemen, the maiden voyage of our newest flagship deserves more pomp and circumstance than we can afford today.  Her christening will just have to be our reward for a safe return.  Carry on."     Pike takes his seat in the captain's chair.     "All decks, this is Captain Pike.  Prepare for immediate departure.  Helm, thrusters."     Lt. Sulu: "Moorings retracted, Captain.  Dock Control reports ready.  Thrusters fired.  Separating from space dock."      The ship majestically pulls away from the dock.    "The fleet's cleared space dock, Captain.  All ships ready for warp."     Pike: "Set a course for Vulcan."      Sulu: "Aye-aye, Captain.  Course laid in."     Pike: "Maximum warp.  Punch it."     Lt. Sulu proudly pushes down the throttle.  Several other starships around the Enterprise immediately zip to light speed... except theirs. The entire crew awkwardly glare at a confused Sulu.      Pike: "Lieutenant, where is Helmsman McKenna?"     Sulu: "He has lungworms, sir.  He couldn't report to his post.  I'm Hikaru Sulu."     Pike: "And you are a pilot, right?"     Sulu: "Very much so, sir," turning back to his controls, "I'm, uh, not sure what's wrong here."     Pike: "Is the parking brake on?"     Sulu (smiling): "Uh, no.  I'll figure it out.  I'm just..."     Spock (interrupting): "Have you disengaged the external inertial dampener?"     Sulu, looking disgusted with himself, pushes a few buttons quickly.   "Ready for warp, sir."     Pike (smiling): "Let's punch it."

Kirk, Sulu and Olson space-jump from a shuttle to a giant Romulan drill trying to destroy the planet Vulcan.  Once airborne, the three rocket toward the machine's platform where they have only one shot to land and disable it.  They are instructed to pull their chutes as late as possible.  At 2,000 meters from the platform, Kirk and Sulu pull their chutes -- but Olsen risks getting closer first...     "Olsen, pull your chute!"      Olsen (laughing): "No, not yet... one thousand meters!"   Olsen finally pulls his chute -- coming in too fast -- and bounces off the deck, his chute dragging him to his death in the fire below.  Dude!

After Kirk and Sulu disable a Romulan drill hovering 1,000 meters above the surface of Vulcan, they frantically call for the Enterprise to beam them back aboard.  But as the Romulan's begin pulling the drill back to their ship, it causes Sulu, who has no chute, to be thrown over the side.  Without thinking of his own safety, Kirk immediately jumps off after his partner.  Catching Sulu, Kirk hugs him tightly and quickly pulls the chute -- snapping it off with the extra weight.     "Kirk to Enterprise!  We're falling without a chute!  Beam us up!"     Technician: "I'm trying.  I can't lock on to your signal... you're moving too fast..."     Kirk: "Beam us up!!"     Chekov (getting up and running to the control panel): "I can do that.  I can do that!"     Kirk: "BEAM US UP!!" as they fall dangerously close to surface rocks, "Enterprise, where are you?!"     Chekov (messing with dials): "Hold on, hold on, hold on! ...Compensating gravitational pull, and..."       Kirk and Sulu scream seconds away from hitting the surface...      Chekov: "Gotacha!" as the two men thump to the transporter room floor!

The Romulan terrorist, Nero -- who's family was destroyed along with his home planet of Romulus -- has Captain Pike prisoner aboard his ship.  Seeking revenge on the Federation for the last 25 years, Nero has Pike strapped to a table...     "You will give me the frequencies to disable Earth's defenses."      Pike refuses to talk.  Nero pulls a small creature out of a container with tongs...     "Centaurian slugs.  They latch on to your brain stem... and release a toxin that will force you to answer," holding the slug close to Pike's face, "Frequencies, please, sir."       Pike: "Christopher Pike, Captain, USS Enterprise..."     Nero: "As you wish..."      Pike's mouth is forced open as the disgusting slug is dropped down his gullet.  Ugh!

While Captain Pike is being held prisoner by the Romulans, Spock has been commissioned the new captain with James Kirk as the new First Mate.  But the two disagree on what the next move should be.  Kirk is adamant about catching the Romulan ship, rescuing Captain Pike, and stopping them from destroying Earth.   Spock believes Kirk's idea is illogical and would rather gather with the rest of Starfleet and reengage with greater strength.  After a heated argument, Spock orders security to escort Kirk off the bridge.  Believing Spock to be making a grave mistake, Kirk fights back and starts pounding on the guards -- until Spock comes from behind and confronts his insubordination with a Vulcan nerve-pinch, knocking him unconscious.     Spock: "Get him off this ship."     Kirk is placed in a shuttle and fired from the Enterprise to a remote planet... where hardships and monstrous creatures await!

Kirk (with Scotty) beams back aboard the Enterprise after being marooned on a remote planet for insubordination.  Kirk has new insight, and secretly needs to prod Spock into an emotional meltdown to take command of the ship himself.  Spock is confused how the two were able to beam aboard the ship while traveling at warp speed.  He demands they tell him, but the two refuse.      Kirk: "What is it with you, Spock?  Your planet was just destroyed, your mother murdered, and you're not even upset."      Spock: "If you are presuming that these experiences in any way impede my ability to command this ship, you are mistaken."     Kirk: "And yet, you are the one who said fear was necessary for command. ...So are you afraid or aren't you?"     Spock: "I will not allow you to lecture me about the merits of emotion."     Kirk (close to his face): "Then why don't you stop me?"     Spock: "Step away from me, Mr. Kirk."       Kirk: "What is it like not to feel anger?  Or heartbreak?  Or the need to stop at nothing to avenge the death of the woman who gave birth to you?"     Spock: "Back away from me..."     Kirk: "You feel nothing!  It must not even compute for you.  You never loved her..."     Breaking point! Spock screams, hits Kirk in the face, tackles him to the ground and begins to strangle his tormentor.         Spock's father: "Spock!"     Spock releases Kirk, gathers himself, and announces: "Doctor, I am no longer fit for duty.  I hereby relinquish my command, based on the fact that I have been emotionally compromised," as he leaves.

As the ship is about to be pulled into an enormous black hole, Captain Kirk tries to save his crew...    Scotty (from the engine room): "Captain, we're caught in the gravity well!  It's got us!"     Kirk: "Go to maximum warp!  Push it!"     Scotty: "I'm giving her all she's got, Captain!"     The ship starts cracking as she continues to be sucked in...     Kirk: "All she's got isn't good enough!  What else you got?"     Scotty: "Okay, if we eject the core and detonate, the blast could be enough to push us away.  I cannot promise anything, though!"       Kirk: "Do it, do it, do it!!"     Scotty does...and...saves the day!

Spock is surprised to run into an older future Spock back on Earth...    Old Spock: "There are so few Vulcans left.  We cannot afford to ignore each other."     Spock: "Then why did you send Kirk aboard when you alone could have explained the truth?"     Old Spock: "Because you needed each other.  I could not deprive you of the revelation of all that you could accomplish together, of a friendship that will define you both in ways you cannot yet realize."     Spock: "How did you persuade him to keep your secret?"    Old Spock: "He inferred that universe-ending paradoxes would ensue should he break his promise."     Spock: "You lied."     Old Spock: "Ahhh.  I... I implied."     Spock: "A gamble."     Old Spock: "An act of faith.  One I hope that you'll repeat in the future in Starfleet."     Spock: "In the face of extinction, it is only logical I resign my Starfleet commission and help rebuild our race."     Old Spock: "And yet, you can be in two places at once.  I urge you to remain in Starfleet.  ...Spock, in this case, do yourself a favor.  Put aside logic.  Do what feels right."      He starts to walk off, then turns, "Since my customary farewell would appear oddly self-serving, I shall simply say (holding up the Vulcan hand gesture)... good luck."
