ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

After dreaming of moving his home to Paradise Falls, South America for most of his lie, Carl and Russell finally arrive! Unfortunately, they land on a tepui opposite Paradise Falls. "What? That's it? I came all this way just to get stuck on the wrong end of this rock-pile?!"

Carl and Ellie's life together is chronicled -- beautifully and without dialogue -- from their wedding day to their twilight years. Included: playing together as children; carrying his new bride into their first home; fixing up their rundown home together; picnics under their favorite oak tree; reading together while holding hands; remodeling a room for a nursery; devastation that she can't conceive; saving for their dream retirement; spending their savings on car repairs, roof repairs, and hospital bills; growing blissfully old together; and losing a life-long partner to sickness. :>(

An old black-and-white news reel, "Movie Town News, Spotlight on Adventure," plays in a 1950's afternoon matinee (amid the mixed crowd is a young boy, Carl, who soaks it all in). It chronicles the exploits of the beloved explorer, Charles Muntz, who returns after a year long expedition to "the lost world" in his large dirigible (which includes lots of doggie comforts for his K9 companions). Muntz brings back and presents to the world a skeleton of "The Monster of Paradise Falls!"   But after studying the bones themselves, scientists from the National Explorer Society cry foul, accuse Muntz of fabricating the skeleton, and strip him of his membership. Humiliated, Muntz vows to return to Paradise Falls and capture the beast alive: "And I will not come back until I do!"

While walking through a South American jungle with Carl, Russell begins giving lame animal impressions - much to Carl's irritation - until Carl hears the perfect rendition of a large carnivorous cat. "What was that one? That actually sounded pretty good!"  Russell, "That wasn't me..."

Russell, a young "Wilderness Explorer" scout attempting to earn his final merit badge for assisting the elderly, ends up in South America with the widower Carl. Though very excited about this new adventure at first, Russell's enthusiasm quickly turns into complaints...

Now a widower getting up in years, Carl's daily routine is laborious. He gets up promptly at 6AM and puts on a large pair of glasses. He struggles out of bed and into his slippers -- snapping his back several times in the process. He uses his four-pronged cane with tennis balls attached to get dressed, then catches a ride on a mechanical chair down the stairs. After having a bowl of bran cereal by himself, he cleans the windows and dusts. He finally puts on his hat, attaches a pin his wife gave him as a child, and makes it out the front door...and into a chair on his porch.

Carl is relaxing at home watching TV when he answers a knock at the door. A chubby little boy in Boy-Scout-type-attire begins reading from a book: "Good afternoon. My name is Russell. And I am a Wilderness Explorer in tribe 54, sweat-lodge 12. Are you in need of any assistance today, sir?"   Carl: "No."   Russell: "I could... help you cross the street?"   Carl: "No."   Russell: "I could... help you cross your yard?"   Carl: "No."   Russell: "I could... help you... cross your porch?"   Carl: "No."   Russell: "Well, I gotta help you cross something."   Carl: "No, I'm doing fine," as he closes the door.   Carl then listens at the door for a moment...before opening it to peek. The boy is still there and starts all over again: "Good afternoon..."   Carl tells him again that he doesn't need any help and attempts to close the door. But Russell has his foot in the door. Exasperated, Carl tells the boy to proceed, but skip to the end. Russell explains that the only Wilderness Explorer badge he is missing is the "Assisting the Elderly Badge."   Concocting a plan to get rid of the lad, Carl asks, "You ever heard of a snipe? ...Every night it sneaks in my yard and gobbles my poor azaleas. I'm elderly and infirmed. I can't catch it. If only someone could help me!"   Russell: "Me! Me! I'll do it!"   Carl: "Oh, I don't know. It's awfully crafty. You'd have to clap your hands three times to lure it in."   Russell: "I'll find it, Mr. Fredricksen."   Carl (pointing): "I think its burrow is two blocks down."   Russell runs off clapping, "Sniiiiiiipe?"

A young boy, Carl, is running down the street pretending to be his childhood hero, explorer Charles Muntz, when he hears strange noises coming from an abandoned house. Investigating inside, he sees a girl shouting and pretending to be Muntz as well -- dressed in explorer attire and "navigating" the house with steering wheel and attached ropes. The girl, Ellie, sees Carl and confronts him -- causing the boy's balloon to float up into the attic.   "Only explorers get in here!" she proclaims.   But wanting a friend to play with, she quickly pins a membership button on his vest: "You and me are in a club now!"   (Overwhelmed by the girl's aggressiveness and larger-than-life attitude, Carl says nothing the entire time.)   Ellie knows where Carl's balloon went as she pulls him to the attic. The balloon is on the other side of a giant hole in the floor, with only a board providing a way to cross. Ellie immediately pushes the frightened boy out on to the plank, "Go on!"   Wanting to show an adventurous spirit in front of the girl, Carl's courage rises as he lowers his goggles and starts to walk across -- causing the board to break. An ambulance rushes Carl to the hospital, who suffers a broken arm.

While walking through the jungles of South America, Carl scrapes his knuckle and makes a comment that all he needs is a small bandage, which completely excites Russell, "I have those!" But Russell's first attempt at First Aid doesn't go so well with...

After arriving in South America, Russell attempts to set the perfect snipe trap! (Earlier, Carl sent the naïve boy on a wild-goose-chase for the imaginary creature to get rid of the pesky kid).

Carl gets ready for the day and goes out to relax on his front porch.  His antique house, however, is surrounded by construction workers building skyscrapers.  He notices he has something in his mailbox and makes his way to retrieve it.  Noticing dust on his mailbox, he uses a leaf blower to dust it off.  The construction foreman sees him and makes his way over to ask if he needs any help.  "Yes, tell your boss over there that you boys are ruining our house."     Foreman: "Well, just to let you know, my boss would be happy to take this old place off your hands, and uh, for double his last offer.  What do you say to that?"     In response, Carl just shoots the man's face with the leaf blower.      Foreman: "I take that as a 'no,' then."     Carl: "I believe I made my position to your boss quite clear."     Foreman: "You poured prune juice in his gas tank."     Carl (chuckling): "Yeah, that was good."     Carl then uses the foreman's bullhorn to shout to the boss: "You in the suit. ...Take a bath, hippy!"     Foreman (taking back the bullhorn): "This is serious!  He's out to get your house!"     Carl (walking back to the porch): "Tell your boss he can have our house."     Foreman: "Really?"     Carl: "When I'm dead!"     Foreman: "I'll take that as a 'maybe.' "

Carl watches in horror as a large construction truck backs into his mailbox.  Running out to the street, he yells at the man in charge: "What do you think you are doing?!"    Man: "I am so sorry, sir," as he tries to fix the box.      Carl (grabbing the other side of the box): "Don't touch that!"    The two play tug-of-war until Carl hauls off and hits the man on the head with his walker, cutting him.  Other construction workers, neighbors, and people passing by stop to look at the bleeding man -- and the instigator.  Carl quickly runs back into his house and closes the blinds as a police car arrives.  After a day in court, Carl finds out he's a "public menace."   The verdict?  He's forced to sell his house to a developer and will be relocated to a retirement home.

After losing his temper and being evicted from his home (for hitting a construction worker with his cane), orderlies from Shady Oaks Retirement Village come to pick Carl up.  What they don't know is that the retired helium balloon salesman has been up all night scheming.  He tells them to give him a moment so he can say goodbye to his house (orderly: "That's typical -- he's probably going to the bathroom for the 80th time").  They head back to the van to wait, but are shocked when they see Carl's house suddenly be pulled off its foundation and float away with thousands of balloons attached!

After arriving in South America, Russell wanders off and finds a giant bird which he thinks is a "snipe (earlier, Carl sent the naive boy on a wild-goose-chase for the imaginary creature to get rid of the pesky kid)."   Bringing it back and surprising Carl, Russell asks if he can keep "Kevin."  Carl says no and tries shooing the annoying bird away -- which knocks on his head, swallows and spits out his cane, and mimics the elderly man's actions.

Along their journey, Carl and Russell hear another human's voice in the fog.  They approach the form of what seems to be a man in the distance.     Carl: "Oh, hello, sir.  Thank goodness.  It's nice to know someone else is up here."     Voice: "I can smell you."     Carl: "What?  You can SMELL us?"     Voice: "I can smell you."     But as they get closer, they see that it's only a rock formation.     Russell (laughing): "You were talking to a rock."     A dog suddenly trots up.    Carl (yelling out into the fog): "We have your dog!  I wonder who he belongs to?"     Russell discovers the dog obeys any command, and when the boy says, "speak," the dog says, "Hi there."      Carl: "Did that dog just say, 'Hi there'?"     Dog: "Oh, yes!  My name is Dug.  I have just met you (jumping up on Carl).  And I love you.  My master made me this collar.  He is a good and smart master and he made me this collar so that I may talk."     Dug abruptly turns, freezes, and yells, "Squirrel!"    Dug turns back to Carl with tail wagging and tongue sticking out.     "My master is good and smart."     Carl: "It's not possible!"     Dug: "Oh, it is.  Because my master is smart..."

Carl is determined to get his floating house to Paradise Falls, but is constantly slowed down and distracted by three irritants: a giant bird, a talking dog who calls Carl his master, and a rambunctious boy scout.  After the house gets banged against a cliff and breaks a window, Carl has had it...     "I am nobody's master, got it!  (Pointing to dog) I don't want you here, (pointing to bird) and I don't want you here, (pointing to boy) I'm stuck with you!"   He points to the bird and dog, "And if you two don't clear out of here by the time I count to three..."    Dog (seeing the tennis balls on Carl's cane): "A ball!  Oh, boy, oh, boy!  A ball!"     Carl: "A ball?  (Taking one off) You want it, boy?"     Dog (tail wagging and turning in circles): "Yes, I do!  I do ever so want the ball!"      Carl throws the ball as the dog takes off after it.  Carl then asks the boy for some chocolate and throws it -- causing the bird to chase it.   Carl (dragging the boy): "Come on!"      Carl and the boy hurry along at a fast pace, through a forest of trees, over a creek, and up a steep cliff -- where they finally stop to catch their breath.  But as Carl turns to his left, there waiting for them is the dog (with the ball) and the bird.

Wanting to help and save his friends, Carl runs back to his grounded house (with thousands of helium balloons tied to it) and tries to push and get it airborne again.  But no matter how hard he struggles, it won't budge.  Angered, he throws a chair off the porch and gets an idea!  Running throughout the house, Carl begins throwing everything he can find out the front door -- giving no thought to the cost -- laying aside every weight, and anything which could easily ensnare him, so he can fly with endurance the race that is set before him, keeping his main objective in mind: to save that which was lost!  After pushing all his earthly possessions out the front door (keepsakes, money, pictures and all), the house finally begins to rise and fly -- off to fulfill his mission!
